The solo sections, loosely based on 'Rhythm changes, provide space for the 1st Trombone, 1st Tenor Sax, 1st Alto Sax and 2nd Trumpet players. While players should be encouraged to develop their own solos, written suggestions have been included on separate sheets and may be used to provide a starting point for less experienced improvisers.
