Handbell - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.953733 Composed by Frank M. Davis, Henry Smart, John Hughes, Robert Lowry, William B. Bradbury, and and George A. Young. Arranged by G. R. Adkison. Christian,Sacred. Score. 10 pages. Gary Ray Adkison #14705. Published by Gary Ray Adkison (A0.953733). God: Our Leader Medley is a 120 measure arrangement for 4-5 octave handbell choir and 3 octaves of OPTIONAL associated handchimes, although the handchime parts can also be played by handbells. The overall theme is the leadership of God in the life of the Christian. This is a medley of 7 Christian hymns. The first 4 are requests---requests to God to lead us. The last 3 are descriptions of God leading us (responses by God). The 1st request is presented by the handchimes playing Savior Lead Me. This is a simple, easy to play section in the key of D. Still in D, the 2nd request is Lead on, O King Eternal. After a false modulation, the 3rd request is Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us. This features a few bass runs. After a modulation to the key of G, the 4th request starts with Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehova. Also featuring some bass runs, it also makes use of descant lines. The 1st response, also in G, is All the Way My Savior Leads Me. This section is not in the original 3/4 time, but in 4/4 time, although near the end it reverts to the normal 3/4. It makes heavy use of fills and a brief descant line. The 2nd response is a 6/4 version of God Leads Us Along in the key of C. Again, there is a brief descant line. The last response is He Leadeth Me, also in C, that features two descant passages, and bass runs in the last two lines. After the first section of the overall arrangement, the chords used are often significantly more interesting than the chords normally used with these 7 hymns. This arrangement uses various dynamic and tempo markings, in order to achieve musical contrast, and still be true to the character of the original hymns. (The MP3 audio demonstration file provided is in a piano patch (voice), although the actual arrangement is for (and, of course, will sound better with a) handbell choir.) This arrangement is probably a level 2+ (2 plus) degree of difficulty.

A moving and evocative setting for choir of William Henry Harrison Murray's marvelous poem of unity and friendship.“Ah, friends, dear friends, as years go by and heads get gray, how fast the guests do go! Touch hands, touch hands, with those that stay. Strong hands to weak, old hands to young, around the Christmas board, touch hands. The false forget, the foe forgive, for every guest will go and every fire burn low and cabin empty stand. Forget, forgive, for who may say that Christmas Day may ever come to host or guest again! Touch hands.â€.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1077471 Composed by Thomas Oboe Lee. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary. Score. 53 pages. Thomas Oboe Lee #681663. Published by Thomas Oboe Lee (A0.1077471). I set my first Christina Rossetti poem back in 1998 for my song cycle, Love Songs. The poem A Birthday begins with the most delightful set of words, My heart is a like a singing bird ... Looking for something to set for my next song cycle I rediscovered Christina via his brother, the poet and painter, Dante Gabriel Rossetti. IMHO, he is much more brilliant as a painter, and his sister is the true genius poet!!! Christina's father emigrated to England from Italy in 1824. Consequently, all four children (Maria, Dante, William and Christina) spoke Italian at home when they were young. To my delight many of Christina's early poems are in Italian. And since I am an insufferable Italophile, this song cycle will consist only of her poems in Italian. I. Versi II. Amore e Dovere III. Amore e Dispetto IV. L'Uommibatto V. Cuccurucù! VI. Small Ensemble Bouzouki,Guitar,Harpsichord,Mandolin,Violin - Digital Download SKU: A0.1017678 Composed by Anonymous. Arranged by Gordon Jackson. Baroque,Celtic,Classical,Folk,Irish,Multicultural,World. Score and parts. 4 pages. Gordon Jackson #6436745. Published by Gordon Jackson (A0.1017678). Staines MorrisThe song, Staines Morris, is very well known by singers of traditional songs. It’s a 17th century song. It’s a 19th century song. Actually, it’s both! The lyrics were certainly published, and probably written, by Robert Cox for his play Actaeon and Diana, published in 1656. The tune was first published in John Playford’s The English Dancing Master in 1651. There is no evidence that, in the 17th century, the lyrics were sung to this melody. That didn’t happen for two hundred years, when William Chappell put the two together for his Popular Music of the Olden Time, vol. 1 (1859). I have added chords to the melody. Whilst humming the tune to myself, I found myself moving into 6/8 time, and that inspired me to compose a galliard based on it, complete with ‘divisions’ (runs of semiquavers or 32nd notes) and counterpoint. The song melody and the galliard can be played separately or as parts of one piece, perhaps with the galliard played between two of the verses. I put the galliard in A minor, to provide a contrast with the D minor song melody, but play them in whatever key takes your fancy. I have also added below the lyrics, as most often sung today.Come ye young men, come alongWith your music, dance and songBring your lasses in your handsFor ’tis that which love commands  Then to the Maypole haste away  For ’tis now our holidayIt is the choice time of the yearFor the violets now appearNow the rose receives its birthAnd the pretty primrose decks the earthAnd when you well reckoned haveWhat kisses you your sweetheart gaveTake them all again, and moreIt will never make them poorWhen you thus have spent your timeAnd the day be past its primeTo your beds repair at nightAnd dream there of your day’s delight

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.905644 Composed by William B. Bradbury. Arranged by Daniel Steenson. Concert,Romantic Period,Sacred,Wedding. Score. 4 pages. Daniel Steenson #4782731. Published by Daniel Steenson (A0.905644). Daniel Steenson's early-advanced piano setting of Savior, like a Shepherd, Lead Us is suitable as an offertory, a meditation before communion, wedding prelude music, or a recital piece. The main challenge lies in the 2nd stanza (mm. 18-32). I chose F-sharp major (G-flat major) for its resonant and harmonious qualities. You will find a wide-variety of color contrasts in this rich key as you travel between registers. Use the black and gray zones of the keys (hand position should be closer to fall board) for smoother, lateral movement (avoid zig-zagging in and out of the black keys). Also, listen for the hymn tune in the alto line (m. 18). Create bell effects in mm. 26-32 (LH crossings are optional) using succinct and gentle finger-tip releases. Catch each harmonic bass-note change with a clean pedal. Double-check your note accuracy in m. 43, and play the C double-sharps! (it helps to hear this measure as a D major 7th chord in first inversion).  Enjoy this transcription of Bradbury's ageless hymn - still cherished by young and old alike!

Easy Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.902777 Composed by Neil Myers and Willie Dowling. Arranged by Maria Colletti. Contemporary. Score. 2 pages. Maria Colletti #6359203. Published by Maria Colletti (A0.902777). This is a big note/beginner arrangement of the opening theme to Amazing World of Gumball intended for students who are just learning to read music and are currently studying Primer Level piano, though it may also be a fun, easy song for students who are just starting Level 1. All Maria Colletti’s arrangements are carefully edited to be accessible for young students who have been playing piano for approximately six months to two years. Unnecessary and confusing notations have been omitted for the benefit of very young students. Some finger number suggestions are given, but plenty of space is left in the music for students to figure out the notes on their own.---
