This arrangement includes the soprano and tenor duet (with a few of the high tenor notes lowered), guitar chords, and the piano accompaniment in advanced intermediate level. The first chorus is in the key of B Major, and then modulates to C major for the dramatic finale. A must sing for the Easter season or any time you want to celebrate Jesus' resurrection. It would be nominated for an Oscar for best original song, which subsequent history would indicate it should have won. The honor went to It Goes Like It Goes from the soundtrack of Norma Rae, which hasn't been heard since. The Rainbow Connection, meanwhile, has been covered by just about every singer and group in the universe, just short of the metal rockers. This arrangement is a challenge, although the parts are not technically difficult. I've used stairstep constructions throughout, so a quintet has to be tight and precise to maintain a steady tempo.
