This well known chorale melody Lasst Uns Erfreuen can also be sung to the text Let All Things Their Creator Bless. In this arrangement for trumpet and organ, the organ is freely composed around the statement of the chorale melody by the trumpet. The organ part is notated on two staves but with an independent pedal part, and much of the writing is in the baroque style. In the middle section the organ also has the chorale in imitation with the trumpet, and the organist is required to have an instrument with at least two manuals and pedals. Ideal as a postlude in any festive service of worship, the performance duration is two and a half minutes. The full score has a separate one page trumpet part attached.
