These words have always been on my heart and I knew one day I wanted to set it to music myself. During that time in my life I was very passionate about Taize� worship music. This philosophy of worship is where a simple text is repeated numerous times with a possible descant appearing. The idea is that you allow God to speak to you in those repetitions rather than taking powerful texts for granted. I gently borrowed this concept as a starting point for this composition.
