Handel's original composition is written in the key of Concert D but this version is written in Concert Bb. to make it a little easier for some younger performers. Other versions of this selection, in both the keys of Concert Bb and Concert D, are also available for a variety of instrumental ensembles. If you are planning to have an organist or other keyboard player play along with this selection, I would suggest that you purchase a version in Concert D.
