Simrock / Musikverlag / Berlin with catalogue number Verlag 763.Although Von Call was a virtuoso instrumentalist, he seems to have focused on teaching amateurs rather than performing. Consequently, much of his music is not of a very demanding nature, but still well composed and well suited to the instruments for which it was written.From about 1798 until his death in 1815 he was quite successful as a composer in Vienna, and  he composed and published about 150 works, mainly chamber music for different combinations and much vocal music with guitar accompaniment.
