Double Bass,Drum Set,Percussion,Piano and Keyboard,Tenor Saxophone - Level 5 - Interactive Download SKU: A0.1227644 Composed by Reese Rosbrook. This edition: Interactive Download. Jazz. 10 pages. Duration 149. Reese_Rosbrook #6P4oLzKV6tnK36zxmQL5n3. Published by Reese_Rosbrook (A0.1227644). Key: Ab major. It's been a while since I've made a jazzy piece, and being inspired from a recent trip to New York City really brought the jazz out of me. This one is super special, because it describes what life is like in the city. The A section is your common stroll, let's say through Central Park or down the block. The beat never stops with anyone. Everyone just keeps walking, and this constant bass line represents that. The B section represents the unexpected. You decide to walk through the subway, encountering a man playing tunes on a funky guitar. The weird chords and rhythms emphasize the curiosity of the music you're hearing. And finally, the C section represents the city lights. Beautiful, aren't they? Yet, unusual at the same time, represented by the 7/4 time signature. (Which was my first time using that time signature, how do you think I did?) I had fun writing this. I'm currently working on a research paper on the Origins of Jazz, and it kind of got me into a Dave Brubeck mood. Thanks for listening! -Reese.

Brass Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.909092 By War. By Charles W. Miller, Harold R. Brown, Howard Scott, Jerry Goldstein, Lee Oskar, Leroy Jordan, Morris Dickerson, and Sylvester Allen. Arranged by Charlie Peterson. Contemporary. Score and parts. 17 pages. Quintessential Brass Repertoire #5712335. Published by Quintessential Brass Repertoire (A0.909092). Funky 70s song by the band War. It starts out with the French horn playing cowbell! The melody starts with trumpet 1 then shifts to trombone, trumpet 2 and then French horn (after relinquishing the cowbell). The tuba plays that classic bass line most of the time but does change for a while in the middle and even gets a few bars of melody. When the trumpet takes back the melody at the end the horn can either play a harmony line or go back to cowbell. Should be a fun one!

Instrumental Duet Flute,Guitar,Instrumental Duet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.935133 By Earth Wind and Fire. By Al McKay, Allee Willis, and Maurice White. Arranged by Simon Dawson. R & B. Score and parts. 18 pages. Dawson Music UK #4747305. Published by Dawson Music UK (A0.935133). This is an intermediate to advanced arrangement of September for flute and classical guitar. The melody has been embellished to suit the instrumental arrangement and is divided between both instruments so would only work as a duo. Some percussive guitar techniques are involved for which explanations are included, and there is use of glissandi and pitch bends in the flute part. This is a very funky arrangement with some cool jazz chords and a seventies groove which makes it a fun concert piece to play.Contact me directly for further information at simon@dawsonmusic.co.uk.www.dawsonmusic.co.uk
