Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1516646 By Chad & Jeremy. By Ann Ronell. Arranged by John Fries. 20th Century,Blues,Jazz,Standards. Score. 2 pages. John Fries #1090819. Published by John Fries (A0.1516646). TYPE JOHN FRIES IN THE SEARCH BAR TO SEE ALL I HAVE TO OFFER. Thank you, John. Willow Weep for Me is a popular song composed in 1932 by Ann Ronell, who also wrote the lyrics. One account of the inspiration for the song is that, during her time at Radcliffe College, Ronell had been struck by the loveliness of the willow trees on campus, and this simple observation became the subject of an intricate song. The song was rejected by publishers for several reasons. First, the song is dedicated to George Gershwin. A dedication to another writer was disapproved of at the time, so the first person presented with the song for publication, Saul Bornstein, passed it to Irving Berlin, who accepted it. Other reasons stated for its slow acceptance are that it was written by a woman and that its construction was unusually complex for a composition that was targeted at a commercial audience.

Guitar Ensemble Guitar - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797732 By Ray Mcvay And His Orchestra. By Albon Timothy, Julien, Michael Julien, and Timothy. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Contemporary. Score and parts. 15 pages. Derek Hasted #4320263. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.797732). KISS ME HONEY HONEY! for 3 GUITARS / LARGE ENSEMBLEFor Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.Derek Hasted writes This is a fun piece that many will know, as it's been covered countless times following the massive success enjoyed by Shirley Bassey. It's set in the same key as the Bassey arrangement and follows the pattern of verses and choruses, including a little instrumental break. This arrangement is for 3 guitars (or a large ensemble), and all the lines are suitable for players of limited experience. The tune is supplied with the instrumental break modelled on the trumpet break in Wally Stott's Orchestral accompaniment, and there is a second version of the tune with an easier-to-play instrumental section which will appeal to an ensemble with more modest technical means.
