The Cape Seashore Seahorses are a mixed green and brown color with dark spots and a short snout. They have a smoothly arched neck and no crown and use their tails to attach themselves to things. They absorb plant vegetation through their snouts and have no stomachs. The Cape Seashore Seahorses have became endangered due to loss of habitat, pollution, and threats to their food sources.
