Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1119979 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Ray Thompson. Classical. 20 pages. RayThompsonMusic #721313. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.1119979). Arranged wind quintet Natural Horn in Bb ALTO Mozart wrote three early String Quartets in Salzburg in 1772 naming them Divertimenti. They are catalogued as K.136, K.137 and K.138. In form these Divertimenti are in three movements, which differs from his later divertimenti which have 4 or more movements. They are sometimes known as Salzburg Symphonies 1 to 3. K. 136, in D major, the best known of the three, opens with an Allegro, followed by an attractive G major slow movement and a rapid finale with the requisite touch of contrapuntal interest. K. 137, in B flat major, starts with an Andante, followed by two faster movements. The third of the set, K. 138, in F major, follows an opening tripartite Allegro with a C major Andante and a final Presto. This is no. 2 Arranged wind quintet. The melody is shared out between mainly flute and oboe...I have not done a straight swop from violin 1 to flute etc.... I have created a natural Horn part in Bb alto.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.553211 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Ray Thompson. Classical,Holiday,Standards,Wedding. 11 pages. RayThompsonMusic #13291. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.553211). Probabaly the most well known of Mozart’s piano Sonatas. The Piano Sonata No. 16 in C major, K. 545, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was described by Mozart himself in his own thematic catalogue as for beginners, and it is sometimes known by the nickname Sonata facile or Sonata semplice. I have arranged the first movement. Mozart’s tempo is crotchet/quarter note = 126: I have reduced the tempo to 120..it seems less rushed for wind instruments! Written for natural horn in C basso (alt horn in F provided) Good practise for scales and arpeggios!! I have added some judicious notes of my own, here and there, to thicken the harmony, and also taken some liberties with the semiquaver passage in bars 14-17 etc.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.796853 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Stephanie Daige. Classical,Concert,Wedding. 30 pages. Stephanie Daige #3213733. Published by Stephanie Daige (A0.796853). One of Mozart’s most beautiful melodies, the second movement of his iconic Piano Concerto No. 21, K.467, re-imagined for woodwind quintet. I have always thought this gorgeous melody would sound amazing as a woodwind quintet (my personal favorite ensemble), and I am glad I have finally gotten around to putting what I hear in my head on paper. The melody moves around between the different instruments as if they are having a conversation. This is a challenging and enjoyable arrangement, suitable for advanced students or professionals. The beauty and romance of this piece would make it great as wedding music.  It would also be suitable for a chamber music concert, or in a school or church. I hope you will enjoy playing this piece as much as I have enjoyed arranging it!

Small Ensemble Cello,Flute,Viola,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.811685 Composed by Franz Joseph Haydn. Arranged by Edited by Pat Spence. Classical,Concert. Score and parts. 32 pages. Piper Publications #3662763. Published by Piper Publications (A0.811685). The second of Haydn's opus 5 quartets for flute, violin, viola and cello published by Hummel in 1767. Unlike the first quartet, the cello part is figured though this piece, like the first, does not need a keyboard. The figuring may have been an after thought and would have enabled the amateur players for whom the published edition was intended to play it with the resources available. There are 4 movements, Presto assai, Minuet & Trio, Adagio & Presto assai. The quartet will be enjoyed by good amateur and professional players and makes a good companion piece in a concert with any of the Mozart flute quartets written 20 years later. The quartet has been lightly edited: obvious mistakes have been corrected without comment. Dynamics added in parenthesis ( ), slurs in dashed lines, staccato dots have been continued throughout passages where only the first part of a section or the first player has the phrasing indicated. The final chords of both sections of the final movement in the original Hummel edition were given different note lengths: the cello a quaver/8th note, viola and violin crotchet/quarter note and the flute a dotted crotchet/quarter note. In both instances all parts play a crotchet/quarter note. The reason for this is unclear; it may have been a Haydn joke comment on the idiosyncrasies of the players or possibly an adjustment for the acoustics of the room in which the piece was played. It seems to have been deliberate because it appears only at the final cadence of both sections.

Small Ensemble Bassoon,Cello,Clarinet,Flute,Oboe - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.811719 Composed by Joseph Bodin De Boismortier (1689 - 1755). Arranged by Edited & arranged by Pat Spence. Baroque,Concert,Graduation,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 22 pages. Piper Publications #5213745. Published by Piper Publications (A0.811719). The sonata is the first of a set of six published in Paris in 1725 by L’Auteur & Boivin ‘Avec Privilege du Roy.1725.’ The title page described them as ‘SONATES EN TRIO pour Trois Flûtes Transversieres sans Basse Par MR BOISMORTIER. OEVRE SEPTIÈME.’The publication consisted of a set of parts each with the title page followed by a copy of the  Privilége granted by King Louis to Boismortier to print and sell his music. The fourth sonata has been arranged for flute or oboe, clarinet & bassoon or cello. The four movements are Doucement, Courante, Allemande and a pair of minuets. Players of intermediate standard and above will enjoy the independent part writing. Obvious mistakes and omissions have been corrected without comment, trills have been added where there is for e.g. a sequence where only the first trill has been indicated or a similar passage has a trill in that part or another part. The more modern tr has been substituted for + and the mordant used on shorter notes retained. The only dynamics included in the original are Doucement (softly) at the beginning of the first movement and Doux , an indication to play softly from bar/measure 49 to the end of the first movement, and none have been added.  Players should feel free to add their own. For the arrangement some changes of register have been made to accommodate the ranges of the oboe and clarinet and additional slurs have been added (dashed lines). Players are free to retain the ‘feel’ of early eighteenth century style whilst playing modern instruments. The original publication used the, now defunct, soprano clef (with G on the bottom line of the stave) and this edition has been transcribed into the modern treble clef. In the eighteenth century it was quite usual for wind players to play several instruments. The use of the soprano clef would have made it easier to switch between flute and bassoon.

Guitar Ensemble Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797733 By Jim Croce. By Jim Croce. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Contemporary,Pop,Rock. Score and parts. 18 pages. Derek Hasted #4310233. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.797733). I'll HAVE TO SAY LOVE YOU IN A SONG - 4 GUITARS/LARGE ENSEMBLEFor Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.Derek Hasted writes This is a wonderful little piece by Jim Croce. This arrangement is written for 4 guitars, but would also work really well with a large ensemble. Audiences will love the bright, colorful sound and the constant feeling of motion and drive, and the overall sound is busy and delightful. It's not at all technically difficult and would suit a school ensemble or an adult ensemble of medium ability. The parts have no page turns and they synchronize easily.Although there are no dynamics on the piece, you will find that the four verses gradually build, with deeper bass and extra countermelodies coming in, as well as a surprise silence. These details will help you find dynamics that work for your particular ensemble. Guitar 2 requires a Capo at the 7th fret, and it's notated with the notes you'd play (not the pitch that comes out).Guitar 4 has the sixth string tuned down to D for a big deep sound.
