Drum Set,Electric Bass Guitar,Electric Guitar,Piano Accompaniment,Synthesizer - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1105120 By David Kai. By David Kai. Arranged by David Kai. Christian,Contemporary,Folk,Rock. Full Performance. Duration 215. David Kai #708367. Published by David Kai (A0.1105120). This fun song was written when heart transplants were fairly new and still in the news. The song depicts the healing ministry of Jesus brought into modern times. Since people like to put music into categories, the style could be roughly described as being country/bluegrass/synth-driven/gospel pop, which might make it pretty unique! The song was first recorded by the Christian rock group, Whitestone. The Great Healer words and music by David Kai ©1980 I’ve had a heart transplant with a bit of a difference, it may seem rather odd No scalpel, no surgeon, no anesthetic, just between me and God And now a new life beats inside of me, it’s more than mere words can describe My heart keeps time to the rhythm of the Spirit inside Well I went fishing for the truth to life, but I opened up a can of worms False religions and philosophies, misleading me at every turn Well I soon realized that knowledge is fine, but it’s really just a place to start ‘Cause you can change your mind but it’s God that has to change your heart Chorus: Yes, he’s the great healer, in a world of pain and strife He’s the great healer, and he can mend a broken life And though your hurts be too much to bear He can heal your wounds with his loving care And give you a new life that will never die So if you feel that you’ve lost all your reason to live Good and bad look the same And you’re walking around more dead than alive Life clotting up in your veins Just end your confusion, accept a transfusion of love from the heavenly Lord And to your surprise you’ll find that you have been restored Chorus:.

Contest,Festival,Instructional,Renaissance,Traditional,Wedding. 50 pages. Jmsgu3 #678573. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1074280). Josquin des Prez (c.1450-1521) was a composer of the Renaissance period, widely regarded as one of the greatest composers of all time. His compositions set the standard for polyphonic music and are considered a high point in the history of music. He wrote a wide range of works, including masses, motets, and chansons, and was the first composer to set popular secular tunes as mass movements. His influence can be seen in the works of many later composers, including Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, and George Frideric Handel.Josquin des Prez was a prolific composer of chamber music and duets during the Renaissance period. He wrote several types of chamber music and duets, including madrigals, chansons, and motets. His compositions are characterized by their intricate counterpoint, as well as their harmonic richness and emotional expressiveness. His works often featured two voices in harmony, and he was known to use imitation and complex canonic techniques to create interesting musical textures. Josquin's chamber music and duets are renowned for their complexity and beauty, and they remain some of the most influential and admired works from the Renaissance period.Josquin Desprez is widely regarded as one of the most influential composers of the Renaissance period. His innovative use of counterpoint and canon helped to revolutionize the musical landscape of the time. Counterpoint is a technique of combining two or more independent melodies in a way that creates harmony and a cohesive musical texture. Josquin was a master of this technique, often combining multiple voices in complex contrapuntal textures. His use of canon, or round, was also highly influential. Canon involves two or more voices repeating the same melody in different registers and often with different rhythms. Josquin wrote canons in various styles and forms, including the popular “circular canon†and the more complex “strict canon.†He was also an early adopter of the “inverted canon†form, in which the same melody is repeated but in an inverted form. Josquin’s use of counterpoint and canon had a lasting impact on the development of Western music and helped to establish the foundation for many of the musical forms and techniques still used today.Contents: I. DER FLIEGENDE HOLLÄNDER (Original version) With this edition, the original version of Wagner’s opera Der fliegende Holländer [The flying Dutchman] WWV 63 is made available to the public for the first time in piano score form. The score on which the edition is based was published in the Richard Wagner-Complete Edition 1983: Richard Wagner. Collected works Vol. 4, I-II, The Flying Dutchman. Romantic opera in three acts (original version 1841), edited by Isolde Vetter (Schott Music International, Mainz, RWA 104-10/RWA 104-20).†(Egon Voss, quoted from the foreword of the new Der fliegende Holländer vocal score) Original version and 1842-1880 version The original version of Der fliegende Holländer dates from 1841. Wagner, at the time a completely unknown Kapellmeister in France, trying to get a foothold in Paris, saw the opportunity for a stage work that would meet the fashion at the Paris Opera of performing several short works one after another. Der fliegende Holländer, conceived in 1840 and composed in 1841, seemed to him suited to the purpose. In 1841, even when Wagner no longer counted on a success in Paris, he still held to the conception of a one-act opera and offered the work to German opera houses under the title of “Romantic Opera in One Act and Three Scenesâ€. This version is set in Scotland, taking as the literary model for the opera Heinrich Heine’s novel fragment “From the Memoirs of Mr. Schnabelewopskiâ€, and the protagonists have English names. This version was never performed in Wagner’s lifetime. Beginning in 1842, the work went through a tale of constant revision: Even before the Dresden premiere (2nd January 1843) Wagner undertook fundamental alterations. He transposed the location from Scotland to Norway, changed character’s names as appropriate, divided the opera into three acts – not least due to considerations of scene changes – and transposed Senta’s Ballad from A minor to G minor. It was in this version that the score of the opera went to print in 1845. For a performance in 1860 he composed the later so-called ‘Tristan’ or ‘Redemption’ ending to the Overture. Until the very end of his life, Wagner contemplated a plan for a final score or a definitive vocal score: it never came to be, so that to this day, as with Tannhäuser, we still do not have Der fliegende Holländer in a final version. Based on the research conducted in the creation of the Complete Edition, our editions contain, in one case the original version of 1841, while the other essentially goes back to the first printing of the score of 1845, but with the addition of the source material for the retouchings dating from 1842 to 1889. VOCAL SCORES The original version of the opera was made available for the first time in a vocal score in 2005 (ED 8065). The completely revised new edition of the vocal score of the 1842-1880 version appeared in 2011 (ED 20531).Les opéras de Richard Wagner paraissent pour la première fois sous forme de piano-chant chez Schott en version originale. Sont déjà publiés dans la série : L’Or du Rhin, Lohengrin, Parsifal et Le Vaisseau fantôme (première version de 1841 et version 1842-1880). Les autres opéras de Wagner représentés à Bayreuth paraîtront d'ici 2013, année anniversaire de la naissance du compositeur.
