Written originally for the mandolin, it surely is one of O’Connor’s most memorable mandolin melodies. With the aid of Edgar Meyer arranging the fabulous cello and bass solo sections, the piece can be performed in a variety of instrumental settings. The mandolin part could be also covered by guitar, piano, harp or most any chordal instrument. The piece was named by a young music student at an inner-city camp for underprivileged youths. At his workshop, O’Connor performed his new piece on the mandolin and asked for the kids to help him name it. The title, Butterfly’s Day Out, helped O’Connor complete his vision for the tune. In addition to saving Cawthon's career as a game developer, Five Nights At Freddy's has become one of the most successful video game franchises having 9 main-line games, multiple spinoffs, a movie, several books, and an endless amount of merchandise. I grew up with this series and it has stuck to me for the longest time. Content creators from all around the world have made millions of videos on these games. It's absolutely incredible that the series is still going on to this day. Published by Digital Print Publishing (A0.969530). The Canon Yeoman's Lament is a song from the perspective of one of Geoffrey Chaucer's characters from the Canterbury Tales--the Canon Yeoman. In Chaucer's famous work, this unfortunate dupe recounted his misfortunes at the hands of the Canon, a.k.a, Alchemist, as well as the plight of one of the Alchemist's many swindled customers. The song is written for unison choir with a piano accompaniment. It also includes a short play at the end that dramatizes Chaucer's rendition of the Canon Yeoman's Tale. The play requires a minimum of six players and would be excellent as a skit for secondary students. The Canon Yeoman's Lament could conclude the play or, if given a brief verbal introduction, it could stand on its own as a humorous interjection highlighting the perils from swindlers, both past and present. This tongue-in-cheek song captures Chaucer's legendary humor for modern audiences!
