Published by Edition Schwalbe (A0.1485694). The march Jetzt geht's los! (It Just Starts Now!) is an early composition of the famous Austrian-Hungarian operetta composer   Franz (Ferenc) Lehár. His first career steps contained several positions as military band conductor in the Austrian-Hungarian army,   so he also led the band of the infantry regiment no. 25 located in Lucenec in today's Slovakia, where this march arose.   The subtitle Humorous March was possibly chosen to indicate, that it was not intended to be a military march. The arrangement  is kept in the original key of the composition for symphony orchestra. Is was first time performed by Salzburg Wind Philharmonic  conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer at their Three Kings' Concert on 6th January 2023 in the Grosses Festspielhaus (Large Festival Hall)  in Salzburg, Austria and broadcasted live by Austrian television. Gabriel's Oboe is the main theme for the 1986 film The Mission, with Robert de Niro, Jeremy Irons, Liam Neeson and directed by Roland Joffé. The theme was written by Italian composer Ennio Morricone, and has since been arranged and performed several times by artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Holly Gornik, and Brynjar Hoff, among others. The theme has been called unforgettable and a celebrated oboe melody.[6] Vocalist Sarah Brightman convinced Morricone to allow her to set lyrics to the theme to create her own song, Nella Fantasia. In 2010, Morricone encouraged soprano Hayley Westenra to write English lyrics for Gabriel's Oboe in her album Paradiso. The arrangement has been made for brass band with a soloist in Bb. It was arranged at the request of Phil Shaw to celebrate his 50 years performing in brass bands.
