This transcription is based on the album version and arranged to be played on a 4-string bass with standard tuning.This song is in the key of F major and is about 3’19 long. The tempo is at 102 bpm and suitable for an early-intermediate player. Do take note, at bar 16, 20, 32, 36, 54 and 58, you are required to let the F# note to ring (sustain) while playing the D note, resulting in an interval of major thirds apart, but an octave higher, which is a voicing in major tenth to be more precise. In it's simplicity, it is the melody that reawakened my drive to compose after years of silence. So it is part of a piano solo album called Reawakening. Pay attention to the rise and fall (swell) in each slur. The sustain pedal is used for each entire bar, but it is important to lift and press after the first note is played in each bar. It should be played gently, even in the forte sections, and expressively. .
