String Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.826734 Composed by Bud Caputo. Contemporary,Jazz,Pop,Standards. Score and parts. 37 pages. Bud Caputo #6462725. Published by Bud Caputo (A0.826734). This is an easy jazz swing chart to help you acquaint your students with this genre of music. Improvisation is encouraged but a written out jazz violin solo is included. Since this is an original work, SMP will have the entire sound track posted on its sales page. Teachers are encouraged to use the track in class rehearsals until a live rhythm section can be added prior to your performance. A single jazz amplified bass will create a cleaner and more authentic jazz feel rather than using the entire bass section. However, only one bass should be used at a time to back your soloists.

Guitar - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1102371 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Simon James. Baroque,Chamber,Christmas,Classical,Instructional. 10 pages. DML #705777. Published by DML (A0.1102371). In dulci jubilo (Latin for In sweet rejoicing) is a traditional Christmas Carol which has become a mainstay of the Christmas Nine Lessons and Carols repertoire. Johann Sebastian Bach set this melody several times: as a chorale in BWV 368; and then for organ in BWV 608 as a double canon in his Orgelbüchlein. Clearly he was fond of the tune and who can blame him. This arrangement of BWW 608 follows almost exactly the four original voices from the canon. It is not difficult to play technically but the rhythm is challenging.

In classical music, arioso [aˈrjoËzo] (also aria parlante[1] [ˈaËrja parˈlante]) is a category of solo vocal piece, usually occurring in an opera or oratorio, falling somewhere between recitative and aria in style. Literally, arioso means airy. The term arose in the 16th century along with the aforementioned styles and monody. It is commonly confused with recitativo accompagnato.Arioso is similar to recitative due to its unrestrained structure and inflexions, close to those of speech. It differs, however, in its rhythm. Arioso is similar to aria in its melodic form, both being closer to singing than recitative; however, they differ in form, arioso generally not resorting to the process of repetition.Sinfonia from Cantata Ich steh’ mit einem Fuß im Grabe (BWV 156)
