Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.921767 Composed by Lisa Waites. Christian,Christmas,Easter,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 1 pages. Servant Song Music and Ministry #6626013. Published by Servant Song Music and Ministry (A0.921767). I wrote As We Leave because I wanted my congregation to be able to sing an upbeat, justice-focused benedictory Amen with contemporary-sounding music and active lyrics that speak of God being with us out in the world, fuelling us for the work of loving people and restoring our beautiful, broken communities that God so loves. I don't know about your denomination or local church practices, but the section for Choral Amens in the hymnal I use is very limited. So, I composed five different versions of the lyrics, so that you can use this Amen throughout the whole year. The alternative lyrics begin with Advent, then provide words to sing together on Christmas Eve. Next, you can use the Epiphany lyrics throughout that season, and then return to the main lyric for Lent, switching to alternative lyrics for Holy Week, and then finally returning to the main lyric for Ordinary Time. If you are worshipping in a non-liturgical church, that's okay, too - use the standard lyrics all year, or switch things up by using one of the alternative lyrics whenever your Pastor is preaching on the themes mentioned in those verses! For $4.59 US, you are getting five different versions of the piece, and you'll be able to use As We Leave all year long, if you so choose. This is a great value for an Amen you can sing together Sunday after Sunday. The music is set in F Major and the accompaniment is simple enough for beginners and early intermediate accompanists. I've added guitar chords to the score as well as the piano accompaniment, for those who play by chord symbol. A YouTube video with embedded lyrics will also be added soon - so that congregations who are meeting digitally during the pandemic will have something to listen to and to watch as they sing along from home.

Instrumental Duet Alto Saxophone,Instrumental Duet,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.532826 Composed by Therese Brenet. Contemporary,Sacred,Standards. Score and parts. 11 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #44849. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.532826). The German mystic the Abbess, Saint Hildegarde de Bingen, describes in the Sciula contraction of Cito uias domini (Learn the ways of the Lord), the visions that she had from childhood. This kind of experience is in a certain extent comparable to the beginning of the process of artistic creation. It was the case of Hildegarde herself, who had great expertise in many fields, including medicine, astronomy. and poetry which she often set in musical setting which were often very inspired. According to God’s will, my soul sometimes goes up into the heights of the sky and in the various regions of air, sometimes among the various peoples who live in far-off lands, unknown places because I see these things in my soul and according to this manner I see them also according to the imprecision of clouds and other creatures. I do not hear these things with my ear, I do not perceive them according to the thoughts of my heart, nor any of my five sense. I see them only en my soul, and the eyes of my body are open; And I see them awake both day and night This work also exists in a version for alto saxophone, viola and piano.

Guitar (fingerpicking) - Intermediate-Advanced - Digital Download SKU: M0.22041EB Seven Contemplative Guitar Solos Written in Free-Form Style. Composed by William Bay. Style. Contemporary. E-book and online audio. Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music #22041EB. Published by Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music (M0.22041EB). ISBN 9781619111653. 8.75x11.75 inches.Timeless Solos is a play on words. The solos in this volume contain no time signatures or bar lines. I did this because I wanted the solos to be very expressive in interpretation yet free-form in structure. The companion recording presents my interpretation of these works. You may interpret them differently and that is fine! All solos are in notation and tablature. When writing these solos I first envisioned the form as an extended cadenza. However, from my earlier trumpet playing days I recalled that, especially in the 19th century, a cadenza was a momentary break in a solo which gave the performer a chance to dazzle the audience with his or her virtuosity. These solos are not about that. Rather, they are a vehicle to give the guitarist an opportunity to move the listener with the performer's expressive ability. I also thought of these solos in the form of a chant. However, most chants are monophonic in form and these solos in various parts present a fairly lush harmonic structure. While the solos were written for a 7 string guitar, they may be played successfully on a 6 string guitar. Alternate notes for those found on the 7th string are shown in the tablature part. Also, the solo, Peace, is written in Dropped D tuning and makes little use of the 7th string pedal tones. The solos are contemplative in nature and provide ample opportunity for individual expression and interpretation. I hope you enjoy playing and performing these works.

IMPORTANT: If you want to help me, and instead of buying the arrangement via this platform, which takes 50% comission over the price from the arranger / composer, please contact me via email at nelsonramos@pm.me and I may even make you a discount, since I will receive the value in its entirety.Contact me for the parts PDF, and having been shown proof of acquisition, I will gladly send them.I arranged the Prelude in Gm, by Rachmaninoff, for Concert Band, because I think it's important that concert/wind bands play arrangements of piano repertoire, too, as this is very rarely done; further, I would say that the character of this prelude really settles in quite nicely with that of a concert/wind band. If needed, separate parts can be sent by email, with proof of purchase.

Guitar,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.747044 By Dizzy Gillespie. By Dizzy Gillespie and Frank Paparelli. Arranged by Keith Terrett. Jazz. Score and part. 12 pages. Keith Terrett #5953127. Published by Keith Terrett (A0.747044). A great sounding arrangement of A Night in Tunisia arranged for Guitar (notaion) & Piano, Guitarists will love this! Tab is available on request: keithterrett@gmail.comA jazz solo is written out for you, if you wish you can improvise on the given chord symbols!A Night in Tunisia is a musical composition written by Dizzy Gillespie around 1941–42, while Gillespie was playing with the Benny Carter band. It has become a jazz standard. It is also known as Interlude. Gillespie called the tune Interlude and said some genius decided to call it 'Night in Tunisia'. He said the tune was composed at the piano at Kelly's Stables in New York. He gave Frank Paparelli co-writer credit in compensation for some unrelated transcription work, but Paparelli had nothing to do with the song. A Night in Tunisia was one of the signature pieces of Gillespie's bebop big band, and he also played it with his small groups. In January 2004, The Recording Academy added the 1946 Victor recording by Gillespie to the Grammy Hall of Fame.On the album A Night at Birdland Vol. 1, Art Blakey introduced his 1954 cover version with this statement: At this time we'd like to play a tune [that] was written by the famous Dizzy Gillespie. I feel rather close to this tune because I was right there when he composed it in Texas on the bottom of a garbage can. The audience laughs, but Blakey responds, Seriously. The liner notes say, The Texas department of sanitation can take a low bow.The complex ostinato bass line in the A section is notable for avoiding the standard walking bass pattern of straight quarter notes, and the use of oscillating half-step-up/half-step-down chord changes (using the Sub V, a tritone substitute chord for the dominant chord) gives the song a unique, mysterious feeling. The B section is notable for having an unresolved minor II-V, since the chord progression of the B section is taken from the B section of the standard Alone Together, causing the V chord to lead back into the Sub V of the A section.Like many of Gillespie's tunes, it features a short written introduction and a brief interlude that occurs between solo sections - in this case, a twelve-bar sequence leading into a four-bar break for the next soloist.
