Choral Choir (SATB divisi) - Digital Download SKU: A0.1008843 Composed by Jamie Dawson Wilcutts. 20th Century,A Cappella,Contemporary,Patriotic. Octavo. 10 pages. WilcuttsMusPub #6027693. Published by WilcuttsMusPub (A0.1008843). An American Civil War Poem is a choral setting of the following poem by George Booker:   Blood, blood! The lines of every printed sheet  Through their dark Arteries reek with running gore;  At hearth, at board, before the household door,  ’T is the sole subject with which neighbors meet.  Girls at the feast, and children in the street,   Prattle of horrors; flash their little store   Of simple jests against the cannon’s roar,   As if mere slaughter kept existence sweet.  O, heaven, I quail at the familiar way   This fool, the world, disports his jingling cap;   Murdering or dying with one grin agap!  Our very Love comes draggled from the fray,   Smiling at victory, scowling at mishap,   with gory Death companioned and at play.  As you can see, the poem holds nothing back in its description. (Commissions are accepted by Jamie D. Wilcutts for works for instrument(s) or choral ensembles of any size or experience. Clarinet Choir,Woodwind Ensemble - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1375438 Composed by John Wilbye. Arranged by Alan Edgar. Early Music,Renaissance. 40 pages. Alan Edgar Ted Moon #960011. Published by Alan Edgar Ted Moon (A0.1375438). John Wilbye (c 1574 – 1638) was an English madrigal composer. He was employed for decades at Hengrave Hall, near Bury St Edmunds. His style is characterized by the use of false relations between the major and minor modes. ‘Draw on Sweet Night’ comes from John Wilbye’s Second Set of Madrigals of 1609, published when the composer was 35. It has become one of Wilbye’s most cherished works and has been recorded by the likes of I Fagiolini, The Tallis Scholars and The Consort of Musicke. Wilbye labelled his score apt both for viols and voices so I feel justified in making this instrumental arrangement. When adding expressive markings, I had in mind the lyrics and their emotions. INSTRUMENTATION: Essential: Eb, Bb 1-4, Bass and either Bb5 or Alto. Optional: Contra-alto and Contrabass 6 minutes.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1323763 Composed by Gustav Holst. Arranged by Ray Thompson. 20th Century,Christmas,Religious. 10 pages. RayThompsonMusic #911949. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.1323763). Lullay, mine liking is a Middle English lyric poem or carol of the 15th century which frames a narrative describing an encounter of the Nativity with a song sung by the Virgin Mary to the infant Christ. The refrain is an early example of an English lullaby; the term lullaby is thought to originate with the lu lu or la la sound made by mothers or nurses to calm children, and by or bye bye, another lulling sound (for example in the similarly ancient Coventry Carol)There are a number of surviving medieval English verses associated with the birth of Jesus which take the form of a lullaby, of which this is probably the most famous example. Written by an anonymous hand, the text is found uniquely in Sloane MS 2593, a collection of medieval lyrics now held in the British Library. My arrangement is transcribed from Gustav Holst's setting of the text, which he calls Lullay, My Liking. It is number 2 from Holst's 4 Carols for Unaccompanied Choir Op.34Arranged wind quintetThe solo verses are played by oboe, flute, clarinet, oboe and bassoon together and finally horn. The refrain has been arranged in a differnt instrumental line up each time it is played.

Large Ensemble Organ,Trombone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.792708 Composed by Hector Berlioz. Arranged by Marc Williams. Opera,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 97 pages. Gordon Cherry #5873693. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.792708). Te Deum, written by Hector Berlioz was conceived as the conclusion to a grand symphony celebrating Napoleon, but ultimately, the piece was dedicated to Prince Albert, the husband of Queen Victoria. Berlioz considered the Te Deum to fall into his ‘architectural or monumental’ musical compositions which is true, given that Berlioz led musical forces between 900-950 performers at the initial 1855 performance! Judex Crederis is the last movement of the Te Deum and represents one of Berlioz’s most dramatic works. As with many of Berlioz’s large works, the trombone plays a prominent role in the movement. After the spectacular organ introduction, the brass enters, led by the six trombones in a brief fanfare that introduces the chorus. This glorious ‘moment’ inspired the arrangement for a monumental trombone choir with organ. The original trombone parts are included essentially unchanged, with the other parts covering the chorus and instruments. The work brilliantly arranged by Marc Williams is intended for accomplished performers and provides ample musical challenges and rewards for the performers and audience alike.

Published by Robert E. Benton, Jr. (A0.1304926). This choral arrangement of the hymn celebrates the gift of music, which blesses the hearts of man. The congregation is called to rejoice, give ear to the Spirit’s call, receive His offer, and adore the Lord. The SATB arrangement is appropriate for choral singing at the high school or collegiate level or above with piano accompaniment. The accompaniment presents a smooth and flowing musical background for the chorus to implore that we rejoice in song while hearing and receiving God’s good gift of music, and culminates in a sonic wall of reverent adoration from the chorus in the final verse. Vocal Ranges: Soprano: D4 -- G5; Alto: A3 – B4; Tenor: D3 – E4; Bass: G2 – B3  For more information…Website: https://TRUSTHYMN.wordpress.comEmail: TRUSTHYMN@yahoo.comFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/TrustHymnInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/trust_hymn/

Trombone Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.782206 Composed by Charles Hubert Hastings Parry. Arranged by James Haynor. Romantic Period. Individual part. 56 pages. James Haynor #3435335. Published by James Haynor (A0.782206). Charles Hubert Hastings Parry (1848 - 1918) was an English composer, teacher and historian of music. The Songs of Farewell are a persuasive reminder of Parry’s significant contribution to the English choral tradition. They were composed during the First World War. Parry’s Songs of Farewell are widely acknowledged as masterpieces of unaccompanied choral writing. Scored here for trombone octet. The sonorities of the trombone choir mimic very well the blend achieved with the human voice.Duration: ( 11:28 )

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.576139 Composed by Carroll O'Daly. Arranged by David Warin Solomons. Contemporary,Folk,World. Octavo. 3 pages. David Warin Solomons #2031597. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.576139). Choral arrangement of Robin Adair, with some interesting harmonies. Audio sample sung (multitrack and transposed down a little) by the composer The original tune was composed with the words Eibhlin a Ruin (Ellen Aroon or Eileen Aroon) by the Irish bard Carroll O'Daly (14th Century), although it was later attributed to the 18th century Irish composer Charles Coffey (this was presumably an arrangement of the original). The words of Robin Adair itself are understood to be by Lady Caroline Keppel, who was in love with a surgeon by that name. (This seems more likely than the theory that Robert Burns wrote it, although Burns certainly knew Keppel's lyrics and made his own parodies upon the words). Some later versions of the melody contain Scotch snaps but this version follows the simplest melodic line, without the Scotch snaps - which may have been closer to O'Daly's original tune - and with quite romantic choral harmonies.
