Raca is an Aramaic word meaning empty-headed fool.  So this is a Fool's Overture.  This whimsical piece features temple blocks, agogo bells, asymmetric changing time signatures, and off-beat melodies.  The scene is a jester in court going about all his foolishness.  The slower middle section is a contrast to all the silliness - perhaps depicting a romantic fool.  The piece then ends with a recap of the various whimsical themes.

The player is the jester of the underground, making some interesting music and harmony while keeping rhythmic ideas quick and steady. Truly a joy to play.
