This song was written for my second graders in 2023 for their promotion ceremony. It’s special to me because my son, Connor, was graduating from high school that year as well. I was moved by the lyrics as they came to me and my students were brought to tears as well. It’s a song about moving on, but also being grateful for the adults that have helped you grow. I hope that your group enjoys performing The Journey.
