Percussion Ensemble Sleigh Bells - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1113251 Composed by Brian Monroe. Contemporary,Contest,Festival,Holiday. Score and parts. 17 pages. BLM Music Publications (https://brianmonroemusic.com) #715195. Published by BLM Music Publications (https://brianmonroemusic.com) (A0.1113251). Riding a toboggan down a hill on a cold, winter afternoon is always fun, but at night make for a terrifically terrifying time. It's cold, and dark and you never know what's around the next banking turn. Excitement and Terror combine to create an adventure you will always remember. The Terrifically Terrifying Toboggan Trek is my second piece for very easy percussion ensemble with the beginning percussionists in mind. The piece has been scored by utilizing patterns which are relatively easy to learn. Layering and varying the patterns makes a fun and interesting piece to learn and perform. In addition, the use of the Alphanotes allows the new percussionist to review reading notes as they learn a piece which is most likely more difficult than they would normally perform. This will allow the students to focus on time keeping and listening. All the pattern as found on the back of each part. I also recommend the director play the sleighbells part as a way to be a part of the ensemble and so he/she can set a steady beat for everyone to follow Instrumentation: Part 1: Bells Part 2: Bells Part 3: Bells Part 4: Bells or Vibraphone Using a vibraphone will give you more of a bass note sound..

Published by Joan Bujacich (A0.893927). Joan Bujacich's arrangement of this upbeat pop song from the Disney Movie, Encanto is fun and easy, Elementary level! It uses ALPHA NOTES and includes the LYRICS, too. The LH uses mainly 5ths on the downbeats while the RH captures the melody with nothing faster than an eighth note. Though it is simplified it does include the verse, chorus and fun rap like section middle section that people love! (so catchy). It is 6 pages in length. Ms. Bujacich has several arrangements from this movie including her popular arrangements of We Don't Talk About Bruno and What Else Can I Do?.  She has duet versions and versions on different levels from Easy, Alphs Note versions to Junior and Intermediate levels. Check them all put here on Sheet Music Plus! Plus, she has the synthesia tutorials on youtube, so be sure to subscribe to her Youtube channel, too.

Jazz Ensemble Jazz Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.862528 Composed by Michael Bomier. Contemporary,Instructional,Jazz,Standards. Score and parts. 75 pages. Michael Butkus-Bomier #2033003. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862528). The IImin7-V7-IMaj7 chord progression is the first and most basic set of chords in tonal jazz. So, let's see how far they can be layered, stretched, and interwoven to create some nicely contrasting harmonic and melodic colors. OK, it Might take a BIT more work that the title suggests. Irony is IN right now... The saxes state the theme in octave unison, while the brass comment and accompany. Then the saxes take over for a full chorus of soli. None of the phrases is more than three measures in length, so the players can blow through without blowing themselves out. The soloists are the trumpet, accompanied by a trombone background, and the piano, with saxophones behind it. SampleSolos are provided. The trumpet shows how Woody Shaw might have played this piece with pentatonic scales, a bit of a contrast to the tonal nature of the changes. The piano has a rapid, multi-noted solo with lots of chromatics, with fingerings, to show what the Tatum-style of pianistic technique is all about. Running time is just over 4 mins at suggested tempo. The rhythm section Uni-Part is included with every GateWay Edition Jazz Ensemble Series chart. Drum part is notated as heard on the audio clip. Medium Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1328293 Composed by Richard Strauss. Arranged by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo. 19th Century,Classical,Romantic Period. 3 pages. Nicole Elyse DiPaolo #916286. Published by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo (A0.1328293). The first of its kind, and the first entry in the Accessible Accompaniments library’s collection of small-hand-optimized song literature publications, this is Richard Strauss’s beloved “Zueignung,” from Acht Gedichte, op. 10 (1885), optimized (but not simplified) for the needs of collaborative pianists with small hands. “Small” is generally understood to be just an octave in span, with limited capacity to grab chord tones within a blocked octave aside from the occasional inner fifth. This edition was inspired by Boosey’s excellent small-hand edition of Frank Bridge’s “Love Went A-Riding” (erroneously labeled “simplified” on the front matter), which thins the large chords that would be problematic or impossible for a barely-an-8ve-reach collaborative pianist to play without adding musically inappropriate rolls or breaks, but also preserves the musical content and grammatically accurate voice-leading. Given that Strauss’s op. 10 collection is much more widespread on today’s concert programs than the Bridge, and given that average conservatory pianist heights and hand sizes have dropped significantly in the 20th and 21st centuries, the need for a similar adaptation in at least some of the op. 10 songs is obvious. Additionally, Strauss’s songs are often so orchestral in spirit—much more so than the Bridge—that the instinct to treat them as orchestral reductions to be adapted by each individual player should be as self-evident and considered as musically appropriate as it would be for any of Strauss’s beloved horn concerti. Performers should feel free to insert their own adaptations, additions, and omissions to this score as needed. The primary source material for this edition is Henle’s edition of the Acht Gedichte. However, any proprietary material that is not public domain (like their fingerings, front matter, and critical notes) is left out of this edition, leaving only what is public domain and edited by Ms. DiPaolo. Unreasonably large chords and arpeggio figures that would require being reachable by a larger hand have been condensed into figures more appropriate for the just-an-octave hand without sacrificing technique and excitement. This edition makes minor improvements to the engraving, like removing syllabic beaming in the voice and adding octave lines when appropriate. This edition also uses Accessible Accompaniments’ distinctive house style, marked by its visual beauty and ease of reading. While this song will be published in low, middle, and high keys for your convenience, please feel free to request another transposition if you are purchasing from a site that does not offer automatic transposition or you don’t see the key that you need. Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.977030 Composed by Paul SanGregory. Contemporary. Score. 10 pages. Distant Engraver Music #3534593. Published by Distant Engraver Music (A0.977030). These pieces are like little objects that are simple and direct, yet slightly eccentric. They often seem to be based on traditional notions of harmony or phrasing, but they don’t always get those aspects exactly right. It’s as if what appears to be common little figurines, upon closer inspection, reveal themselves to be more varied, colorful, complex and unpredictable than a quick glance might reveal. I - Mutable Phrase This piece sounds a bit obsessive because all the phrases begin the same way. It almost sounds like somebody repeating a simple one-phrase statement, but constantly changing it with the hope of writing a perfectly nuanced phrase. II - Sparks in Emptiness The use of the sostenuto pedal in this piece creates an effect of reverberating empty space. Within that space, little bursts of energy begin appearing. It sounds like flashes of light in an empty dark space. III - Silent Blue Tides This piece is based on a slowly moving and somewhat unpredictable chord progression. A duo of simple melodies then floats on that chord progression, rising and falling with the moods of that large blue sea.

B-Flat Trumpet,Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1080679 Composed by Alex Lewis and Eddie Lewis. Classical,Multicultural,World. Score and part. 9 pages. Tiger Music #684898. Published by Tiger Music (A0.1080679). Southwest Sunrise Trumpet Solo Eddie Lewis and Alex Lewis MTR P111 4137 Southwest Sunrise is a trumpet solo for beginner trumpet students that has a more complicated piano part. I often get requests for music for students of different skill levels. And in fact, that’s what of my strengths as a writer, is that I can blend parts across skill levels that way. In this case, Alex and I were striving for something that would be interesting for the pianist, but not overly challenging for the beginner trumpet student. The Process The inspiration for this piece came to me on a morning walk in Chandler, Arizona. Chandler is a suburb of Phoenix. I was walking east, into the rising sun. It was a very simple melody. It was a very simple blues melody that I immediately recognized as something that would work in our series for beginner trumpet students. This was during a time when my son, Alex, and I were already collaborating on some other projects. For this piece, I gave Alex the melody and gave him a general description of what I was hearing. Then I gave him his space to create what sounded good to him. The next stage was me editing some of his creativity. At this point we went back and forth on a few issues until we agreed on the final results. SKILL LEVEL The skill level for Southwest Sunrise is Trumpet Pioneer (we don’t have skill levels for piano parts yet on this website). Trumpet Pioner is the first of seven levels in our system. These are absolute beginners who have only been playing the trumpet for a few months. Our Trumpet Pioneer level limits the range to C in the staff. We also limit rhythms to nothing smaller than quarter-notes, and key signatures are limited to one flat or sharp. Practice Recommendations While it is obvious and I don’t normally list it as a point in this practice recommendations, but the rhythms are very different between the trumpet part and the trumpet part. So it is even MORE important to spend time listening to the composition long before you begin practicing it. As I said, this is a good habit for working on all performance pieces. There is research that proves that students learn their music best when they recognize their mistakes soonest. When you listen to the music repeatedly before you practice, it goes a long way towards helping you recognize your mistakes. This is one of the most important reasons for listening, but there are others that I won’t go into here. Assuming the pianist is far more advanced than the trumpeter, the pianist should assume a patient, educational role.

Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1459183 By Myles Smith. By Jesse Finkelstein, Myles Smith, and Peter Fenn. Arranged by Barry McCormick. Folk,Pop,Singer/Songwriter. Score. 5 pages. B. McCormick #1038156. Published by B. McCormick (A0.1459183). Introducing the Piano Vocal and Guitar arrangment of Stargazing Mood: Warm, fun, and happy About the Song and Songwriter: “Stargazing” is a breakout hit by English singer-songwriter Myles Smith. The song, released in May 2024, is known for its warm, fun, and happy mood. Myles Smith, born in Luton, England, is celebrated for his unique blend of folk, Americana, and pop influences. Arrangement Details: This is a Piano Vocal and Guitar Arrangement. This arrangement includes the melody with lyrics and an accompanying piano part. The melody has the chords above and also contains the strumming pattern at the start of the verse. Keeping the melody on a separate staff means this could be used with any instruments in C and the piano part as an accompaniment. The accompaniment is written to try and capture the main features of the song, helping to give a convincing performance of the song. Difficulty Level: The guitar part is suitable for beginner to easy intermediate level players, with the main challenge being maintaining the strumming pattern consistently. The vocal part is suitable for intermediate to upper intermediate level singers, with a wide vocal range of B4 - G#5. The piano part itself has a difficulty level of easy intermediate to intermediate level. It is very repetitive, with the hardest part being the syncopated inverted pedal E which comes in the intro, chorus, bridge, and outro.Unique Selling Points: This arrangement stands out for several reasons: The strumming pattern is provided at the start of the verse. Small noteheads are used to differentiate between the backing vocal parts and main vocal parts, and also in the verses for parts of the melody that differ between verses. The piano part provides a condensed version of what is going on in the band2. The vocal melody exists only in the vocal line and the piano is designed to accompany the singer2. The ability to read sheet music and understand musical notation on the piano also translates well to guitar, making it easier for you to learn new pieces and write your music. Target Audience: This arrangement is ideal for educators and individuals learning music.Potential Uses: This arrangement of “Stargazing” could be used in a variety of settings, such as: Music education: It’s a great piece for teaching students about chord progressions, strumming patterns, and vocal techniques. Performances: It’s suitable for school concerts, open mic nights, or casual performances among friends and family. Self-study: It’s a wonderful piece for individuals looking to expand their repertoire and improve their guitar, vocal, and piano skills. Reading sheet music is a crucial tool for musicians, providing accuracy, consistency, learning opportunities, communication, and preservation of musical compositions4. This arrangement of “Stargazing” offers all these benefits and more.

Solo Bb Cl. 2 Bb Cl. Acl (Bb Cl). BCl. - Advanced - Digital Download SKU: F2.FM585 Composed by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. Arranged by Robert Rainford. Arranged for Solo Clarinet with Clarinet Quartet accompaniment. Score and parts. 126 pages. Forton Music - Digital #FM585. Published by Forton Music - Digital (F2.FM585). ISBN 9790570484843.This quintet is an early work, composed in 1895. Compared to the more familiar quintets of Mozart, Weber and Brahms, this composition is not as well known. However, it is every bit the equal of it's more famous brothers, and deserves to receive more recognition. The first movement alternates dark and troubled sections with livelier, folk dance like music with almost the feeling of Dvorak's slavonic dances. The second movement features a long melodic line, which is decorated with increasingly elaborate lower parts. The third movement is a frenetic and nervous scherzo, which switches between 9/8 and 3/4 times giving it a stuttering feeling at times. The finale returns to the minor key dramatic feel of the first movement, with much use of the scotch snap rhythm adding another folk music-like flavour. Overall, stylistically this piece fits beautifully between the Weber and Brahms quintets, and should be more widely performed. Originally published for clarinet in A and string quartet, this version presents the work to be played on solo clarinet in Bb accompanied by a quartet of two Bb clarinets, an alto clarinet in Eb (although a substitute part for another clarinet in Bb is included) and a bass clarinet in Bb. The solo part has been left unchanged; the string parts have been altered to suit the new medium. The somewhat stratospheric first violin part has been tamed and brought down to a more suitable range; the articulation and dynamics have been edited and corrected so as to present a more unified work. The problematic third movement, with its unmarked and hard to spot shifts between 9/8 and 3/4 has been presented in a more readable fashion.

James Nathaniel Holland #877785. Published by James Nathaniel Holland (A0.1286761). INDIVIDUAL INSTRUMENTS PART 1 of 2 (Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion).  This four act contemporary opera, original libretto and music, by 21st century American composer James Nathaniel Holland is the story of the triumph of Love over Evil, however delayed, and the power of keeping steadfast to one’s righteous promise.  Based on the German fairy tale The Six Swans, in a kingdom, during Saxon times, the murderous daughter of an evil entity, Ravia, infiltrates and takes over the lives of a royal family due to the King’s rash promise to marry her many years before. The royal children are sent away by their father for safety to a hidden, woodland cottage, but Ravia discovers where they are and hexes the younger siblings, turning them into swallows.  Usha, the eldest, escapes and flees to the wilderness and is visited by the apparition of her dead mother who explains what is going on and that Usha must swear an oath of silence for six years to break the spell and change her siblings back into human form.Five years pass and a dashing and kind king, Rohric, of another kingdom, finds Usha while hunting, falls in love with and marries her, but Usha must remain silent and cannot reveal who she is.  Ravia, who now is sole queen of the old kingdom, is invited by Rohric’s nobles with hope to secure a “proper” wedding for Rohric.  Usha is accused falsely of killing her own child by the two and is sentenced to be burned at the stake, but as the bell tolls she finally can declare her innocence.  To the crowd’s amazement her siblings change back, all truth is revealed, and for Ravia’s failure, she is dragged back to hell by demons.  Singers:  King Alfred (bass), Ravia (soprano), Princess Usha (mezzo), Queen Mother Arna (soprano), the royal siblings (children’s/boy’s chorus), King Rohric (Tenor), The Evil Noble (baritone), An angel/a demon (bass), SATB ChorusScored for full orchestra.  Instrumentation:  picc/treble recorder, fl12, ob12, eh, cl12, bsn12, hrn 123, tpt123, trom12, tba, timp, perc.12 (bd, crash cym, ride cym with soft mallets and stick, small gong, wood blk, glk, chimes, snar, tri), hrp, stringsDuration:  2 hoursFull Orchestral Score (concert pitch), Piano Vocal Score and Instruments Parts 1 (woodwinds, brass, perc.) and Parts 2 (harp and strings) sold separately.

INDIVIDUAL INSTRUMENTS PARTS 2 of 2 (Harp and Strings).
