Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Children,Folk,Instructional,Standards,Traditional. Score and parts. 11 pages. Sharon Wilson #4356967. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.565423). This sheet music is notated for 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instruments with Handbells on one staff and Boomwhackers® on a second staff creating an instrumental ensemble (requires one set of each instrument). Both parts play the melody for one verse beginning with part one (handbells) on the melody and part two (Boomwhackers®) on harmony. After a short interlude, part two plays the melody for the second verse while part one plays harmony. If you want to play only the first verse, an optional ending is provided or it can be skipped to perform the two verses together. Included in this set of scores is a combined score with both instrument parts on a grand staff plus a separate score for each instrument. A note and chord chart is also provided to aid in the learning and teaching of this song. Lyrics are provided as well for sing along enjoyment.  This set of scores uses black and white noteheads and is best suited for musicians already familiar with reading standard music notation. For beginning musicians, this same set of scores is available (sold separately) with color coded noteheads.Though this sheet music is notated for Handbells and Boomwhackers®, this song is playable by any 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instrument such as a xylophone or glockenspiel. Only filled noteheads (quarter and eighth notes) are used so the notes are easier to see (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter and eighth rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. The number of ringers and whackers needed will vary depending on the skill level of the participants. For more advanced players, each person could be assigned two or three notes. For beginners, it is best to assign one or two notes to each person. Note assignment suggestions are included.Other suggestions and uses: * have both parts played by bells or both parts played using only Boomwhackers® * form a choir using multiple sets of bells and/or Boomwhackers® (this would amplify the sound and allow more people to participate)* use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church* these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groups, children’s ministriesThis song is one of the 20 arrangements in the collection Folk Songs for 13-note Bells and Boomwhackers® (with Black and White Notes), VOL. 2. Bells,Handbell,Handchime,Piano Accompaniment - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1354736 By Phillips, Craig & Dean. By Stuart Townend. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Christian,Contemporary,Easter,Lent,Sacred. 13 pages. Sharon Wilson #939436. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.1354736). This sheet music is arranged for a one octave, 13-note chromatic scale Handbell choir with Piano accompaniment. The piano provides an introduction then the Handbells play the melody and occasional 2-part harmony. An optional repeat is included for playing additional verses. Included in this set of scores is a combined score with both instruments (Handbells and Piano) on a grand staff plus two separate scores for the Handbells (one score in standard format with black and white notes and the second score with color-coded notes).  Lyrics are provided on the Handbell staff.A color-coded note chart is provided showing the Handbell notes used for this arrangement as well as the number of times each note is played.  The note distribution is helpful when assigning notes to ringers. You may want to assign fewer notes to beginners or evenly distribute the bells between all ringers. On the color-coded score, only filled noteheads (quarter and eighth notes) are used so the notes are full color and easier to distinguish (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. As a reminder for beginning ringers, all sharps and flats are displayed (shown in the key of C) on the color-coded score. Note assignment suggestions are provided. As noted above, one of the Handbell scores is color-coded for easier note reading for beginning ringers.  This separate color-coded score uses the Chroma-Notes™ Colored Music System.  If you have a set of Handbells with a different color scheme, Chroma-Notes Stick Ons can be purchased and applied so the Handbells match this color scheme. Visit Sharon Wilson's website: https://www.sharonwilsonmusic.com/Subscribe to her YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/@SharonWilsonMusic

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.955857 Composed by Jacques Offenbach. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. Concert,Opera,Romantic Period. Octavo. 11 pages. Scott S. Stewart #6476035. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.955857). As in The Student Prince and Faust the main character arrives at a tavern packed with students who probably should be studying, but instead they are setting the scene for the real drama… In Les Contes d’Hoffmann (The Tales of Hoffmann) a lively drinking song opens the scene at Luther’s tavern with a rowdy crowd of students teasing bartender Luther and calling for beer and wine.  Originally scored for principle cast members and 4-part men’s chorus, this arrangement of Scene IV of the Prologue: Luther’s Drinking Song ‘Drig! Drig! Drig! Drig!’ is adapted for 4-part SATB ensemble and piano accompaniment.  This exhilarating drinking chorus is a great opener for an evening of drinking songs – or an evening of light outdoor entertainment – or a recital for community engagement.  It is in original French language.  Performance time:2:40+- Bring us your beer, your wine; Fill our glass until morning! Your wine is ours!

Saxophone Quartet,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Soprano Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1167803 By United States Army. By John Philip Sousa. Arranged by Aaron Hettinga. Classical,Historic,March,Patriotic,Traditional. 9 pages. Aaron Hettinga #768155. Published by Aaron Hettinga (A0.1167803). The official U.S. Army song, commonly known as “The Caissons Go Rolling Along†or “The Army Goes Rolling Along,†predates John Philip Sousa’s version by several years. In 1917, Sousa composed “The U.S. Field Artillery March†containing the Caisson Song’s melody as the basis for the march’s TRIO section. This arrangement makes use of Sousa’s introduction, then remains faithful to his harmonic treatment and the flavors of the melody and accompaniments throughout. While each of the four parts do feature some small technical requirements, they remain at an intermediate level where even less-experienced players should be able to pull them off handily. While originally scored here for SATB Saxophone quartet, a sub part to play the top line on Alto sax is also included. This arrangement is a great vehicle to share some patriotic flair on your patriotic Saxophone quartet program!Note: the live demo recording is made from a brass quintet version of this same basic arrangement.

Concert Band - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.891956 Composed by A.E.Williams. Arranged by Stephen Davies. 20th Century,Standards. Score and Parts. 74 pages. Stephen Davies #6094485. Published by Stephen Davies (A0.891956).    CLARINET CONCERT CONCERTINO FOR WIND BAND I don’t normally enter long descriptions of my arrangements, nothing worse than seeing that little sign on the bottom right saying ‘see more’, however this piece has a rather interesting story that I’d like to share with you! It was maybe 8 or 9 years ago that I helped in the library of the Band Of The Guards Association, a group of musicians who were all members of the Household Division Bandsin London, that is to say the Grenadier, Coldstream, Scots, Irish, Welsh, Life Guards and Blues & Royals bands, chiefly known the world over for Changing The Guard at Buckingham Palace and many other ceremonial occasions. The Band Of The Guards Association were privileged to rehearse at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the famous Chelsea Pensioners, renowned for their Redcoats and medals as veterans of the British Army. Our library of music for the band at the time was held in an air raid shelter deep in the cellars underneath the labyrinthine corridors of the old building built by Sir Christopher Wren back in the 1680’s. When I say ‘air raid shelter’, that is exactly what it was like! Can’t go into too much detail, but suffice it to say that it was like being transported back in time! But this is where the library was kept, complete with dusty shelves, blackout warnings, obsolete bulb replacements and tunnels to the Thames! The man in charge of the library was Mr.Gordon ‘Joe’ Stafford, former Solo Clarinet with HM Band Of The Welsh Guards (ret’d), a fine player of that instrument in his day, and revered as such even now. About 8 years ago, our ‘underground ‘ library was deemed a fire hazard, and we were ‘invited’ to move it elsewhere. As we had our practice room nearby in the Chelsea Hospital, we decided to relocate the whole library there, shelving being built and constructed by enthusiastic band members. Joe Stafford and myself were not particularly enthusiastic about this, but it had to be done. Having looked at the enormous amount of music to be moved, we thought about ditching some of the scores which would never be played again, for instance selections of musicals long forgotten, scores with multiple missing parts etc. Lots of that music went to local music organisations simply for sight reading purposes, and the more complete versions went to bands and orchestras to bolster their stock of scores. After the laborious sorting out in the air raid shelter, Joe and I had the unenviable task of discarding the scores and parts that were incomplete, defaced, or just basically useless. It was an arbitrary case of ‘keep or throw’, and at the time we were doing this, Joe was desperate for a pint in the bar! I agreed, and was anyway on my last batch of throwaways when I found a piece titled ‘Clarinet Concerto’, by A.E.Williams. Written in pencil, with ancient sellotape, and signed by all the people who played it many years ago, including the Soloist and composer, I thought that that should not be binned, so I kept it! Joe Stafford suggested that I should ‘get it out there’ , so I have. Incidentally it has a cracking Cadenza towards the end, it was a bit smudged in the original score, but I’ve filled in the gaps!! This would be an ideal addition to the band repertoire for Clarinet!
