SATB Chorus, opt. Trumpet - Digital Download SKU: C6.833118 Composed by Lloyd Larson. Eastertide. MP3. Celebrating Grace - Digital #833118. Published by Celebrating Grace - Digital (C6.833118). Using words by Cecil Alexander, Lloyd Larson has created a joyous anthem to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. The spirited 6/8 is punctuated at times with syncopations, creating interest and rhythmic fun. A contrasting middle section in minor explores fear, sadness, and Christ's suffering with unison singing, then gives way to cheerful Alleluias. The original joyous theme returns with a modulation, and the piece finishes with a high moment of praise. The optional trumpet part adds a festive quality. Part for Bb Trumpet is included.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.818064 Composed by Anton R. Tajanlangit. Christian,Contemporary,Spiritual. Score. 7 pages. Antonality #4612847. Published by Antonality (A0.818064). No More Pain - in memory of Sr. Cecille Tajanlangit, OSC. The very last note says it all...In October 2016, my younger sister Marilou, who is also Sr. Cecille Tajanlangit, OSC, Mother Abbess of the St. Clare Monastery in Biliran, Leyte, Philippines, died of a chronic illness that had no known cure and that had caused her so much pain and suffering through so many years.A few months before, and going into the time that she died, she had been listening to all my works, 24/7, by her bedside. She told me over an overseas call that she was my number one fan and joked that she wanted to be the president of a fan club she was going to start up for me.But then not long afterward, she passed away-more than 13,000 kilometres away from me.I just composed this very sad piano piece to commemorate her life, which she had dedicated to Christ in His sufferings too. I'm sure she will hear this too from wherever she is. I did ask her, when she was still alive, to let God hear all my works when she gets to heaven. She said she would. Maybe that's where my fan club will be set up, among the angels! Those who were by her death bed recount that she twitched slightly on her last breath, and at the next instant a smile of deliverance showed up on her face! Please play the piece and try to decipher the hidden meanings behind each section. Towards the end of the piece, she falls into Jesus' lap and ... on the very last note, everything that she was hoping for came true. NO MORE PAIN!P.S. Musicians who hear this will recognize it as the Tierce de Picardie.

Monica Bergo #3238977. Published by Monica Bergo (A0.976861). 2017 Holiday Contest EntryNEMESIS I enter the room of my consciousness That incredible disorder I rummage through the drawers Where I keep sufferings And the ineradicable memories Dust that knows of regret Spider webs cover my time, I recompose pieces of life But I'm here for you Fleeting shadow   And my face reflects, Inside you My nemesis, my alter ego You reflect me and then Are a dark ghost The imperfect and the unsaid I will let you be what you are, My soul, black and rending. If you destroy my image It does not matter Finally that door remains open   And opening the border between dream and reality I stumble among people at my funeral Who cry, who laugh, It is my Carnival I look at them from above, a spectral profile   Rush down into the void that I have inside Nobody hugs me, I touch the silence, Slow-motion of a movie without more viewers, Close the curtain of the world outside and ... and ...   The snow falls , how cold it is For this actress without identity I escape from the frost of my uncertainties But there is no refuge save me from she Who is heat, but to hurt Is my animal instinct   I'm alone in this storm But certainly I do not regret Your mood swings, your sterile love Even without, I will survive   My nemesis now dominates Be careful! If she comes for you She destroys you, crushes you, is cruel and savage, And then she will laugh in your face   And sitting here on the bank of my river I'm waiting for you to pass this way Naked and without arrogance I'll never get enough This dance that gives me joy   And in the darkness I move safe and stealthy  (what are you?) I'm not afraid of anything and I feel wicked  (you are lost now)   Souls dancing to the beat of their sins  (you like us) In this limbo I disown my past days  (and so will you be...)   Wind and storm I'm not just this, The rumble of thunder I don't understand any longer which side I’m on And it goes against the wind and sharpens my torment I'm hungry for the Sun Nemesis cannot dominate me   My nemesis is here, Is stronger than ever And I know that she is reaching for me And it’s she who does not know Ever to stop halfway, Is Lady of Vice and Deception She seizes me , she exhausts me because She does not accept the peace that I have inside She has no balance, Makes me waver, And frustrates what I have achieved   Tell me that you'll disappear As a dream in the morning light And will be, within me, A memory clouded by time   I leave the room of my consciousness To make order is impossible Strange this drawer, not only sufferings But something relentless Nemesis, it is no longer your time By now your fire is spent And I will be born again to enchantment By words and music Food for the soul ...   Monica Bergo

Small Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.976717 Composed by Robert Myers. Contemporary,Easter,Sacred. Score and parts. 67 pages. WheatMyer Music #4794639. Published by WheatMyer Music (A0.976717). It Is Not Death to Die is a new setting of French poet Henri Abraham CĆ©sar Malan's Non, ce n'est pas mourir as translated by George Washington Bethune and adapted for this work. Why this text? It first came to my notice shortly after the passing of Billy Graham, who was known to paraphrase D. L. Moody,   Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I   am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God.Graham's bold proclamation and Malan's poetry motivated me to focus anew on the resurrection, re-remembering it as the pivotal element of the Christian faith. For if there is no resurrection, Paul says in 1 Cor 15, our faith is useless. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead! Unfortunately, singing about heaven has, perhaps, been neglected of recent decades. We seem to have focused more on the already to the detriment of the not yet. But it is important to remember that this life is not all there is! Quoting Paul again, the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us (Rom 8:18). Yet, if Christ delays, the grim inevitability of our transition into eternity is a certain experience we all face. Malan's poetry so poignantly and eloquently captures this tension that it compelled me to compose a fresh musical setting that attempts to captures the mixture of dread and hope borne out in the acclamation that death is swallowed up in victory! I pray that this setting aids the Church to remember the great hope and promise Christ has granted us:   O Death, where is your victory?    O Death, where is your sting?_______________________________________________________________________________________________The music opens with a C# diminished chord in a very still and somber texture reflective of grief. The text is introduced with the first of two main motives, a rising 4-note outline of B minor in a triple repetition of It Is Not Death. As each stanza proceeds the music concludes on the second motive, a 5-note descending span of a minor 7th in Bb Lydian. The energy and mood of the music gradually shift over the five stanzas, as the focus moves from this life to the next; the texture thickens, the harmony expands, and the dynamic grows into the music’s pinnacle on reign with You on high! The music closes on a reprise of the opening section, simultaneously mindful of our mortality and our eternity.Available with orchestral (this version) or piano accompaniment, It Is Not Death to Die is a fitting close to the Easter season, or is suitable for Ascension Sunday, a funeral or memorial service, or any time in the church year to remind Christians of the central hope of our faith, eternal life in Christ.Robert MyersS.D.G.Orchestration   2 1 1 1 1   2 2 2 1 1   Timp   Glock   Perc            Mark Tree, Sus Cym, Crash Cym, Snare, Bass Drum, Mid Tom, Triangle, Tam Tam   Piano   Strings
