This musical narrative reflects the theme of personal growth and renewal, akin to the process of self-discovery and transformation found in the Hero's Journey archetype.

But I gave each movement a new twist, adding a whiff of Tango to the Allemande,giving the Gavotte some Rumba rhythm, etc. and altogether - I had a great time!But as my harpsichord is in dreadful condition, having been neglected for decades, I actually wrote this harpsichord work at the piano. And I have to admit that I LIKE it on the piano!!So here is the fully pianistic version, as opposed to the harpsichord version.To round off this book, I took four pieces from my two collections using the titles of Magritte’s surreal paintings to make a further 4-movement work, the ‘Suite Magritte’.
