IMPULSE is a perpetual motion piece for unaccompanied violin.  It's the third movement of my violin concerto THE SHARP EDGE OF INFINITY.  It's a difficult work, conceived at concerto level, between three and four minutes long.  Great for performing and touring violinists or advanced students.  It's well-suited as an encore piece.  The mood is fun and inventive, with a scherzo-like quality, a driving rhythm feel, and lots of technical flash.  Apologies for the midi rendering, but I don't have a live recording yet - you can be the first!!
