The piece uses virtually the whole span of the keyboard and so shows off some flying hands (and a couple of cross hands for good measure). The pedal is used for good effect though this should become intuitive.The piece has some time signature changes that are involved in the effect of the piece and there is some subtle syncopation linked into that.
