What's more, for this series I offer the tune from the anthology along with another version: The alternate version adds divisions, a common performance practice for Renaissance and English Country Dance music. These duos are delightful for study as well as performance. As Kammeraderie, we are recording all of our duo anthologies in 2015, and that challenging but satisfying journey has inspired us to explore more deeply the practice of adding variations and divisions to Playford's music. The art of divisions makes the performance unique and also extends it. I've decided to make the results available as sheet music in the Regal Playford series.

God Gave Me You is a song recorded by American country music artist Bryan White, and written by Andy Goldmark, Jamie Houston and James Dean Hicks. It was released in October 1999 as the second single from the album How Lucky I Am. The song reached No. 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.In 2015, however, God Gave Me You experienced a major surge in popularity in the Philippines after it became associated with AlDub-a popular on-air couple seen on the Kalyeserye segment of the local variety show Eat Bulaga!. White learned of the phenomenon in September 2015 after noting the significant amount of discussion related to AlDub and the song on Twitter. (For that reason, most Austrians are merely mildly aggravated by what is otherwise a lovely tune.) The tiny edelweiss (it means noble white) flower is indeed a prominent symbol of Austria, present on many things Austrian you would find in any souvenir store across the country. Edelweiss was a late addition to the Sound Of Music score; Richard Rodgers thought Capt. Von Trapp needed a song to sing to his country as he fled the Nazis. It was also the last song of the Rodgers and Hammerstein collaboration before Hammerstein died. This arrangement features an echoic yodeling at beginning and end. It's scored for two trumpets, horn, baritone TC (trombone is more forceful than necessary, although I've included the part with this package) and tuba.If you need alternative instrumentation, I'm happy to accommodate. Andrés Ballesteros (2010, ed. 2016; ASCAP)I wrote Sin Tregua in response to the ongoing drug war being waged in Mexico. After years of war, the government has proved ineffective and unwilling to deal with the violence. The government is a corrupted version of what was intended, so it seemed only fitting to musically corrupt the anthem that is supposed to represent our country. The music does this by bringing out the militaristic rhythms of the original but twisting the harmony out of shape into harsh dissonances, just as our country has been twisted out of shape. The melody of the national anthem never makes it past it's high point, instead falling apart back into the disorganized chaos it can't seem to escape.This piece is a short piece for advanced ensembles looking to include high-energy, slightly Ives-ian music. In each of the four movements, Beethoven succeeds in re-inventing the archetypal movement forms with equal intensity, meaning that they are consequently nothing like what they once were. My Beethoven Studies (String Quartets 6-10) explore the cosmos of this so very unique quartet to a greater or lesser degree, and in explicit form in this concluding quartet of the cycle. The Cavatina from op. 130 is one of the most emotional movements ever written by Beethoven. Although some of the original material can be recognised in my own Cavatina, I consider it as one of the most personal and freest movements of my entire quartet cycle. This is a free form of ardent singing and flowing, marking the conclusion of the cycle which grappled so vehemently and sensuously with the cosmos of Beethoven’s quartets.
