This is my second piece that I have wrote for piano and in general. The reason I chose the name Yesterday's Future is basically because I wanted to write a piece where it portrays moving on from something happening in you life. If I were to write it again, I would probably change up the melody a bit halfway through to make it more interesting, but nonetheless, I am pretty happy with it.

As the theme continues throughout the whole the piece, changing very subtly, it resembles something you need to let go of. At the end of the piece with the held right hand and moving left hand, I wanted to make that part sound like it is moving on with the dynamics changing to resemble anger and relief. Anyway, thanks again for listening, hope you enjoyed it and there is much more to come!

There's a Small Hotel is a 1936 song composed by Richard Rodgers, with lyrics by Lorenz Hart. Originally written for but dropped from the musical Billy Rose's Jumbo (1935), it was used in On Your Toes (1936), where it was introduced by Ray Bolger and Doris Carson. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. It sounds great as-written, but feel free to make it your own!

The march Jetzt geht's los! (It Just Starts Now!) is an early composition of the famous Austrian-Hungarian operetta composer   Franz (Ferenc) Lehár. His first career steps contained several positions as military band conductor in the Austrian-Hungarian army,   so he also led the band of the infantry regiment no. 25 located in Lucenec in today's Slovakia, where this march arose.   The subtitle Humorous March was possibly chosen to indicate, that it was not intended to be a military march. The arrangement  is kept in the original key of the composition for symphony orchestra. Is was first time performed by Salzburg Wind Philharmonic  conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer at their Three Kings' Concert on 6th January 2023 in the Grosses Festspielhaus (Large Festival Hall)  in Salzburg, Austria and broadcasted live by Austrian television. Claude Debussy was, by all accounts, totally devoted to his daughter Claude-Emma (affectionately known as Chouchou) The suite Children's Corner (for solo piano) is dedicated to Chouchou. She outlived her father by scarcely a year, succumbing to the diphtheria epidemic of 1919. (with information from Wikipedia). The naming of one or two among Debussy's piano works can raise issues in the light of current trends. These were not an issue during the composer's life, but are unlikely to be ignored today. The word Golliwog may have unwanted implications, but its omission may cause confusion with another of the composer's short piano works known simply as Cakewalk. The cakewalk was a dance developed from the prize walks (dance contests with a cake awarded as the prize) held in the mid-19th century, generally at get-togethers on Black slave plantations before and after emancipation in the Southern United States.... It was originally a processional partner dance danced with comical formality, and may have developed as a subtle mockery of the mannered dances of white slaveholders. Following an exhibition of the cakewalk at the 1876 Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia, the cakewalk was adopted by performers in minstrel shows, where it was danced exclusively by men until the 1890s. At that point, Broadway shows featuring women began to include cakewalks, and grotesque dances became very popular across the country. [Wikipedia] 
The grotesque aspect of some later cakewalk dance steps may well be heard in the accompaniment to this work: the oboist's endeavors to produce a soft low B-natural (!) will help create this effect.
Technically this piece is intermediate, but the range of the bassoon (especially), oboe, and (to a lesser extent) horn parts are an additional challenge for those players.

There's No Business Like Show Business is an Irving Berlin song, written for the 1946 musical Annie Get Your Gun and orchestrated by Ted Royal. The song, a slightly tongue-in-cheek salute to the glamour and excitement of a life in show business, is sung in the musical by members of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in an attempt to persuade Annie Oakley to join the production. It is reprised three times in the musical but for the purposes of the show that I made this arrangement for only 2 verses were required... a third verse could easily be added of course with appropriate lyrics.

The song is also featured in the 1954 movie of the same name, where it is notably sung by Ethel Merman as the main musical number. The movie, directed by Walter Lang, is essentially a catalog of various Berlin's pieces, in the same way that Singin' in the Rain-which starred Donald O'Connor as well-was a collection of Arthur Freed songs. There was also a disco version of the song made during the 1970s, with Merman reprising her singing role in The Ethel Merman Disco Album. The song became one of Ethel Merman's standards and was often performed by her at concerts and on television.

Chonan Samgeori is composed with Theme of Korean Traditional. This traditional melody is very famous in Korea. In this piece, special Korean rhytm, named Kutkori is adapted for percussion effect.

It works great for Concert where special music is desired.  Arranger is very experienced(with I Musici), and his works are very loved world widely. And, especially, Shown Bowing sign and Fingering(Vn,Va) will be very helpful to player. Attached Music file is recorded by S.Quartet, it's just for a reference.

This piano song for the early advanced pianist starts out rubato with no steady beat. Play with a lot of expressions. Starting with measure 5, it has a steady tempo at 80 BPM. Measure 9 picks up the tempo, and the repeat is even faster. Measure 13 repeats 4x playing it faster each time, then molt rit on bar 14. Beginning with bar 15 to the end, it keeps a steady, driving beat, except where it has a rit. At the repeat in bars 39/40, play it louder the 2nd time.

Another Nocturne, this one in jazz ballad style. In retrospect, it seems to be inspired by both Thelonious Monk and Wayne Shorter—thus, the title. I say in retrospect because I originally composed it in the late 1990s as a part of an intermediate-level piano book released by Oxford University Press (Eight Funky Etudes), and now out of print. In revising it, I understood where it came from—Monk and Shorter.

The Minuet in G major is found in the 1725 Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach, where it appears with its companion piece, Minuet in G minor, as a pair to be performed da capo. The notebook in question, which belonged to Johann Sebastian Bach's second wife Anna Magdalena, is a compilation of music by various composers of the late 17th and early 18th century.

The Level is Intermediate and the duration is approximately 1.40 minutes. It could be played in any type of recital/concert.
