Things dicovered on the way to learning other things: Sousa dedicated Manhattan Beach to the resort's proprietor, entrpreneur/developer Austin ... Corbin (also big in banking and president of the Long Island Rail Road. Apprently no relation to the arranger. Good thing, too; he was a raging anti-Semite (he wouldn't allow Jews at the resort) and was instrumental in cheating the Montauk native American tribe outy of their land.
