Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.918797 By Lady Gaga. By RedOne and Stefani Germanotta. Arranged by Jason Howard. Pop. Score. 6 pages. Jason Howard #5301707. Published by Jason Howard (A0.918797). This arrangement of Poker Face came to me suddenly while I was sitting at my piano. I was bored and looking through a collection of pop songs, when I accidentally created the opening lick of this piece. It got me thinking, What would happen if this piece had a little bit of a jazz flair? So I sat there, whirled some ideas around in my head, and this arrangement was the outcome. This arrangement is a piano/vocal solo with some optional back up vocals written as well. I hope you guys enjoy it, and leave a comment!I hope that you enjoy my arrangement! If you do (or even if you don't), please leave a comment and let me know! As a current full time band director who would love to be able to do this full time one day, any and all critiques are appreciated, and I'm particularly interested in formatting suggestions! If you would rather email me than leave a comment, shoot me an email at jhowardarranging@gmail.com!A little about me:My name is Jason Howard, and at the time of this publication, I'm going into my 5th year as a band director at the middle and high school levels. I have quite a bit of experience with arranging of various types of vocal and instrumental ensembles and combos. Most are for personal use, but as I get time, I hope to publish more and more for public consumption! Primarily, I focus on popular music, and I one day hope to bring important and influential classical musics to audiences and younger students everywhere!

Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1422251 By Alan Wagstaff. By Alan Wagstaff. Arranged by Alan Wagstaff. Celtic,Country,Folk,Irish,New Age,Singer/Songwriter. 18 pages. Alan Wagstaff #1003599. Published by Alan Wagstaff (A0.1422251). 'Where Are We Going?' is an Irish style waltz written for soprano voice, fiddle, harp, accordion, flute, and bass. Here is the lyric:'Where are we going?' you asked me today.Truth is - I have no idea.Wherever we're heading - we're heading that way;today - let's enjoy being here. I don't buy into this mad human race.Everyone's rushing to some distant place.Everyone’s hoping some day they'll arrive.I'm busy being alive. What happens next, now that we two have met,Leave in the lap of the gods.'Now' is a moment I cannot regret -right now, we have beaten the odds. I don't buy into this mad human race.Everyone's rushing to some distant place.Everyone’s hoping some day they'll arrive.I'm busy being alive. I love uncertainty - I love the road,I love the time spent with you.I love not knowing the last episode,I love what we're going through. Don’t even know what's around the next bend.Don't want to know, or to see.One thing's for certain - I'll still be your friend,Right now, that feels solid to me. I don't buy into this mad human race.Everyone's rushing to some distant place.Everyone’s hoping some day they'll arrive.I'm busy being alive.

Daniel P Roberts #556397. Published by Daniel P Roberts (A0.950672). Arranged for 4 string bass in Drop D tuning with TAB Take this pink ribbon off my eyes I'm exposed and it's no big surprise Don't you think I know exactly where I stand? This world is forcing me to hold your hand 'Cause I'm just a girl, oh, little old me Well, don't let me out of your sight Oh, I'm just a girl, all pretty and petite So don't let me have any rights Oh, I've had it up to here The moment that I step outside So many reasons for me to run and hide I can't do the little things I hold so dear 'Cause it's all those little things that I fear 'Cause I'm just a girl, I'd rather not be 'Cause they won't let me drive late at night Oh, I'm just a girl, guess I'm some kind of freak 'Cause they all sit and stare with their eyes Oh, I'm just a girl, take a good look at me Just your typical prototype Oh, I've had it up to here Oh, am I making myself clear? I'm just a girl I'm just a girl in the world That's all that you'll let me be Oh, I'm just a girl, living in captivity Your rule of thumb makes me worrisome Oh, I'm just a girl, what's my destiny? What I've succumbed to is making me numb Oh, I'm just a girl, my apologies What I've become is so burdensome Oh, I'm just a girl, lucky me Twiddle-dum, there's no comparison Oh, I've had it up to Oh, I've had it up to Oh, I've had it up to here.

Cello,Flute,Piano,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1381044 Composed by Jason V. Barabba. 20th Century,Chamber,Classical,Contemporary,Disco. 48 pages. Barabba Music #965759. Published by Barabba Music (A0.1381044). It’s difficult to know what to say about this piece. It will probably always be an aberration when considered as part of my larger body of works. My challenge when writing this piece was to incorporate two different dance styles, and I immediately decided it was time to face the disco music of my childhood. Yes, I had the Bee Gees on LP when I was a kid.…and ABBA…but I left them out of this piece.Obviously, this is meant to be fun. There are direct (if not always obvious) quotations to the following songs:              Anita Ward’s “Ring My Bell”              “Night Fever” by the Bee Gees              Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” (Just had to be included)              Lipps Inc’s “Funktown”              and “Boogie Nights” from HeatwaveThe ancient dance form known as the pavane is, weirdly enough, the perfect pairing with the disco…in that their rhythmic structures easily go together, allowing me to spread the disco material around throughout the piece. In fact, the references to “I Will Survive” are in the slower pavane section, not the disco. The piece is basic A-B-A form (Disco-Pavane-Disco) with a fadeout ending…because in all my research I don’t remember finding a single disco piece that didn’t have a fadeout ending. It just wasn’t done. Please have some fun listening to this piece, because I had a great time writing it. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever written..pdf contains a complete set of score and parts. There are also versions with clarinet and oboe in place of the flute available. For more information visit www.jasonbarabba.com.

Jazz Combo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1023975 By Peabo Bryson And Regina Belle. By Alan Menken. Arranged by Odd Helge Hveding. Film/TV. Score and parts. 27 pages. Oh2Musikk #3056155. Published by oh2Musikk (A0.1023975). How can your trombone quartet gain more audience? By playing with other people. You want your concerts to be well visited and to help you with that, I make arrangements (and compositions) for trombonequartet with guitar, piano, bass and drums. They also contain an optional bass-trombone/ tuba part and sometimes a solo part. This one contains a trombone solo part. This arrangement of A Whole New World, is scored for Solo Trombone in front of the ensemble mentioned above.  There are two solo parts in the set. One high and and one low. You can combine those two if that makes you more comfortable. Durata: 3,5 minutes (approx.) The song itself is about Alladin taking Jasmine on a ride on the magic carpet. The lyrics are all about discovering what you didn’t know about and be grateful for all the adventures life gives. This makes it a perfect piece to play in a variety of places, like weddings, celebrations of any kind, graduations, not to mention many types of concerts. With a few adjustments you can also use parts of this arrangement and make it work. It’s most powerful when you use the whole band, but it still makes a lot of sense if you have to skip some of the parts. There are so many times I have had to skip a piece in a concert, using a not as good substitute, because we didn’t have the people to play it. In this series I have made it easier to still be able to play it, even if you don’t manage to cover every part. Check it out and you’ll understand. Do you want to know more about me and my music? Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.873027 Composed by Sally Whitwell. Contemporary. Score. 5 pages. Sally Whitwell #3867219. Published by Sally Whitwell (A0.873027). At the end of July 2016, I was in my hometown Canberra for a job interview. I was sick as a dog with laryngitis for the interview and audition. Imagine me trying to take a choir rehearsal with no voice? It was never going to happen for me and I was feeling pretty sorry for myself. Halfway back to Sydney on the bus, I get a text from my dear friend Emma. I don’t remember the exact words, but the gist of it was No easy way to say this. We lost Jeff today. Jeff being Emma’s beloved husband and all round awesome human. It was truly devastating. I didn’t know what to do. I felt terribly guilty for thinking of myself and my employment failure all day instead of thinking of Emma and Jeff, even though that was completely irrational. Didn’t want to call because I knew she’d have enough stuff to deal with. Couldn’t turn around cos Public Transport. Had lost the ability to formulate sentences because in that situation, there are no words. So I fell back into the place where I express most clearly. Music. And into my native habitat, the piano. Passacaglia came flowing out very quickly. I hardly stopped to edit. Normally I would try to plan a composition a bit, so that it’s structurally sound. I didn’t do that but somehow it just emerged fully formed.  I sent it to Emma who asked if I could come and perform it at the memorial service. But I couldn’t make it to the memorial. And you know what the saddest thing is? I can’t even now remember why, which means it can’t have actually been that important. Instead I created an electronic file of the piece, with more sounds than just piano. I hope it worked ok. Emma told me later that after the funeral when she suddenly found herself alone, she just played it over and over again on repeat.  So I guess it did its job, but now it’s ready to make its own way in the world in its original version for solo piano. I hope it can bring some solace to others in grief
