Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1359879 By Bing Crosby. By Harry Von Tilzer. Arranged by Martyn Clive Johnson (aka Martycli Piano Guy). 20th Century,Comedy,Folk,Jazz,Ragtime. Score. 7 pages. Martyn Johnson #944360. Published by Martyn Johnson (A0.1359879). This is a very old waltz from 1900. It would have been performed in Vaudeville and English Music Hall. I take it through the two keys of Bb major and Cb major. Cb major has 7 flats but is not so hard as you might think as it's easy to remember to flatten every note instead of having to remember which notes to flatten! I interweave arpeggios between the melody notes and it therefore has a very full sound to it. It is sort of a Stride waltz in that the bass is usually, with some variations, followed by two chords on each beat.I don't notate fingering, pedals or dynamics as I leave the interpretation up to the individual pianist and in any event no two piano teachers ever agree on these things. Please note this is a piano solo and I doesn't include notation for the other instruments on my YouTube upload, strings, drums, bass guitar. I write all my music as piano solos first and they sound perfectly complete as such.I hope you have as much fun learning it as I did arranging it.

Published by Matt Murphy (A0.1259991). Hey y'all!  I've been inspired by this music for as long as I can remember. It all started in college and has remained to this day. I lived it. Breathed it. Ate it. And, slept with it (literally). And through listening and experimenting, perhaps the music will inspire you, too. There's a lot to digest. So, it's very important to take the time to enjoy it.Keep practicing these examples. Create some of your own. This book should be used as a springboard to your success! It's just a blueprint. Make these grooves and exercises YOURS! Use a metronome. Look, metronomes don't lie. They will keep you in line and will ensure your accuracy as you traverse through the different styles.Y'all inspire me! I remember in college, when I was just thirsty for knowledge. I wanted as much as I could get, as quickly as I could get it. I listened to music. I went out to check out live shows. I played in more than my fair share of bands. And, have performed around the world with TONS of great musicians and people, as a result! The sky's the limit, folks! Keep pushing and keep reaching. You'll do it! Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.842484 Composed by Ben Clapton. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score. 18 pages. Ben Clapton #5828377. Published by Ben Clapton (A0.842484). A minimalist piano piece inspired by a roadtrip across the Nullabor, the stretch of road between Adelaide and Perth in Australia. After an interrupted start, it expands into a molto perpetuo that depicts the continuous movement as you drive across this large continent. It expands, and changes in style, yet there is familiarity through the sections. It then cuts - almost abruptly - into a slower, reflective space. Driving across for the first time, there is a sense of awe that comes at certain parts, as you reflect on what you are doing. But that reflection can't last forever, and it transitions back into the molto perpetuo once again. The piece closes with more reflection, remembering the incredible journey. This piece would be excellent for a recital or performance. Length: 13-14 minutes. If you're performing this piece, please let me know through my socials - Ben Clapton Music on all platforms - or through my website - http//benclapton.id.au - I'd love to send through some encouragement.

Brass Quintet Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1458394 By Lawrence Welk. By Hal David and Henry Mancini. Arranged by Will Corbin. Pop. 16 pages. Will Corbin #1037370. Published by Will Corbin (A0.1458394). TUBA ALERT! Most recorded versions of this Henry Mancini classic hand the melody to flutes and piccolos. But baby elephants don't piccolo, they tuba. (This from actual personal experience.) So the heavy melodic lifting in this arrangement goes there. The song was featured in the 1962 latter-day John Wayne adventure romance comedy Hatari, a film from which its theme song is the only thing worth remembering. The song won Mancini a 1963 Grammy for best instrumental song. A 1962 recording by Lawrence Welk (!) reached No. 48 on Billboard's Hot 100. It was as hot as Welk ever got.If you need alternative instrumentation, I'm happy to help. Contact me at wilcor@aol.com.

Guitar - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1314698 Composed by Richard Hirsch. Instructional. Educational Exercises. 8 pages. Richard Hirsch #903442. Published by Richard Hirsch (A0.1314698). Many amateur guitarists and beginning students of guitar are ‘stuck in the first position’. The rest of the fretboard is ‘terra incognita’. They don’t know where the notes are and they don’t know how to get to them and use them in playing melodies. To help remedy this situation, I offer a collection of scales and exercises I have developed over the years that have helped me master the fretboard of the guitar and that I have used to warm up my left and right hands before practicing or playing proper pieces. Guitarists afraid to move up the fretboard miss out on all the tonal nuances that the guitar has to offer. They also often have undeveloped left hand technique with a little finger that flies around helplessly and uselessly. These scales and exercises will, if played regularly, put the little finger to good use and guide the left hand to orient to the fretboard properly, staying close to the fretboard with fingers that move as little and as efficiently as possible. They are also relaxing and fun to play around with. I read somewhere a while back that medical science had found that pianists were less likely to develop brain diseases. The scientists attributed this to the many hours pianists spend playing scales, as this is like a gentle brain massage. So scales are not only good warm up exercises for the fingers but also good warm-ups for the brain. The scale exercises written here in the keys of G and C should be played in different keys in higher positions on the fretboard. Students can try to see just how far up the neck they can go to reach the highest notes. After a while, what seemed challenging and strange will start to feel comfortable and familiar. Don’t hesitate to develop new variants of the scales when you grow tired of playing them as I propose here. Have fun playing and playing with the scales! The exercises often start in one position and move toward other higher or lower positions on the fretboard. When moving from one position to another, follow the suggested fingerings to utilise what is called a lead finger to move the hand to the next position. This will make the movement smooth and not interrupt the flow of the scale. In the end all movement should look and feel seamless and effortless.I have chosen scales in major keys I think are particularly good to play on the guitar. To practice a scale in a minor key, start the exercise in the related major key from the fundamental of the minor key, for example, to play an E minor scale start the G major exercise on an E and play from there. This is one way of creating new variants of these scales. Another way to vary the exercises is to play the scales in different time signatures or rhythms.I believe these exercises are particularly helpful for amateur guitarists who play in ensembles of different kinds, duos, trios, quartets, where the guitarist often only has one melodic line to play. Such melodies often sound much better played in higher positions where the guitar can be made to sing, rather than in the first position where the same tones, especially on open strings, often sound rather dull. From my own experience, I find that when I play a melody in a higher position using all the fingers of the left hand, the melody not only sounds better, the fingers remember the melody better.

Small Ensemble Flute,Harp,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797295 Arranged by Darhon Rees-Rohrbacher. Celtic,Folk. Score and parts. 66 pages. Afghan Press Music for the Harp #4800694. Published by Afghan Press Music for the Harp (A0.797295). Welsh airs used in this publication were collected by Edward Jones (1751-1824), harper to King George IV. Jones was a prolific collector and arranger of melodies and is best remembered for his three-volume work called Musical and Poetical Relicks of the Welsh Bards (1784-1802). The order of the music facilitates playing 2-4 tunes in succession as a Welsh medley. All tunes were typeset to fit exactly on two facing pages to eliminate any page turns within a piece. Some melodies were transposed from their original keys to better suit the range of the flute. Tunes may be taken up the octave where desired, such as on repeated sections. The harp range needed to play all of the accompaniments in this collection exactly as written is only 26 strings (C-G). There are no lever changes within pieces in this entire collection, only lever pre-sets. Table of Contents: Cnott y Coed (The Wood-Bunch), Tros y Garreg (Over the Rock), Crisial Ground (The Crystal Ground), Blodau y’ Gorllewin (Flowers of the West), Ffarwel Dic Bibydd (Dick the Piper’s Farewell), Agoriad Cywair (The Opening of the Key),Trichant o Bunnau (Three Hundred Pounds), Y Gŵr a’i Farch (The Man and His Horse), Mopsi Dôn: yr Hên Fford (Mopsy’s Tune: The Old Way), Yr Hên Rogero Bengoch (Old Roger Red Poll), Mwynen Machno (The Enjoyment of Machno), Tlysig (The Beauty), Cymro o B’le? Lyrics No, no, no, no, no! Can't hide it anymore, She's happy but I'm hurt, I want to be her joy; She said I'm so annoy'ng, Baby I'm so sorry! Baby I'm so sorry! She has no hope in me making it big, She saw no future in me becoming rich, She chose luxury over me; Baby I'm so sorry! She saw no happiness with me so soon, She chose money over me Because I was broke; We ate together, We laughed together; We loved each other: She said she love me I am everything to her, She said I meant the world and the life in her, But she chose luxury over me, Baby I'm so sorry! Luxury so sweet; the life she feels I cannot give, She chose money over me Because I was broke; I was out in the colds Just to gist with you, I know my failures Made me look senseless And my path rejections Made me look worthless; I buried my labour just to make you so happy And sweet smile on your face gave me joy and hope on my dreams I will never forget you, I will always remember, For the memory of you Had consumed my thoughts, Baby I'm so sorry! Baby I'm so sorry! I thought I was the one for you all this while, I hope your luxury will love and care for you More than the way I would love and care for you, Because I thought my little love was just enough She chose money over me Because I was broke; No, no, no, no, no! Can't hide it any more, She's happy but I'm hurt, I want to be her joy; She said I'm so annoy'ng, Baby I'm so sorry! Baby I'm so sorry! My dreams of promises to her is gone with her For it never became a reality, I told her to never leave me. She said I'm giving her tough times. I called her my Belov'd the one in whom I am well pleased, I told her it will be all right for one day we Will make it to the top of the World together, But she never believed me Because I was broke; She started feeling bored for texting and chatting with me; She started laying False accusations against me; I denied pleasure and Distance just to be with her And made her so happy But she could not do same for me, Baby I'm so sorry! Baby I'm so sorry! She suspects me for what I do not know, I had to let it go For her to be happy Because that's what she wants! Baby I'm so sorry! Baby I'm so sorry! It's hard to say the word Because I was broke; Baby I'm so sorry! Baby I'm so sorry! Baby I'm so sorry! Baby I'm so sorry!

Arranged by Liz Lee - Cellomoji. Pop. Individual part. 3 pages. Cellomoji #4805535. Published by Cellomoji (A0.900308). Here is a groovy song with Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus. I based this off of the hit album 7 EP. Though this song has a lot of flats and accidentals, just remember you have to groove with the beat on this one. Remember this song is fairly repetitive and the range of notes isn't too big. So have fun while you are learning this, and remember to keep an eye on all those flats!Youtube: http://bit.ly/2kBfRJJInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/cellomojiQuestions?: liz@cellomoji.com
