Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.893864 Composed by David Kai. Celtic,Folk,Pop. Score. 5 pages. David Kai #6100233. Published by David Kai (A0.893864). A song celebrating the people of Gander, Newfoundland & Labrador in Canada who helped close to 7,000 stranded airline passengers after September 11, 2001. The story of Gander and the surrounding towns has been immortalized in the Broadway show, Come From Away. The song is written in a Celtic/Newfoundland style. This song is dedicated to my spouse Marly's parents, Isaac and Sybil who were a part of the crew who helped the plane people in Gander through their involvement in the Anglican church. WHEN THE WORLD DROPS IN TO TOWN     Words and music by David Kai ©2020 On the 11th of September, in a quiet little town In a place that they call Newfoundland, all the planes were coming down Just how many were arriving, it was hard to know or tell In a quiet town in Newfoundland on the day the towers fell.  With ten thousand waiting on the ground, seven thousand on their way The schools and halls and churches were preparing for their stay And not only in Gander, but in places all around ‘Cause you’ve got to pull together when the world drops into town. Chorus: So raise a glass to them, let’s sing a song to cheer For all the workers, cooks and clerks, for all the volunteers Who showed such kindness, who stepped up when chips were down ‘Cause you’ve got to pull together when the world drops into town  All the stores they opened up their doors, the supplies, how fast they flew! Take it all to help the plane people, it’s the least that we can do! Aunt Winnie baked two dozen of her partridgeberry pies She said, I think those plane people will be in for some surprise! So the people were all settled, and much to their delight There were home-cooked meals and showers in homes, even trips to see the sights Though they came from countries ‘round the world, they did seem to all fit in And in kitchen parties here and there, new found friends were being screeched in.  Chorus: Soon the skies, they were reopened, just a week and they were gone Though the planes took off into the skies all the memories lingered on For what they all remember, and what’s talked of to this day Is how townsfolk cared for people who had come from far away.  So let’s sing and let’s be thankful, for each and every one Who showed us how to live together in the year two-thousand one, Let’s celebrate their kindness, for we never will forget, That in Newfoundland a stranger’s just a friend you haven’t met.  Chorus:

Violin Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.590531 By Elvis Costello. By Charles Aznavour and Herbert Kretzmer. Arranged by Leo Silva. Film/TV,Pop. 1 pages. MP Sheet Music #199805. Published by MP Sheet Music (A0.590531). The simplicity of a flower or a song can snatch your heart... I think it's hard to have someone who doesn't know She by Charles Aznavour and how much this song enchanted generations. Composed by Charles Aznavour, one of the greatest French singers of all time, of Armenian origin, also an actor. Aware of the potential of his newest song, Aznavour decided to record She (written by him and Herbert Kretzmer) not only in French, but also in English, German, Spanish and Italian. And he was right: released in 1974, the song was hugely successful everywhere, topping the UK charts. In 1999, 25 years later, She was covered by the British Elvis Costello for the soundtrack of the film Notting Hill (A Place Called Notting Hill), theme song by the couple William Thacker (Hugh Grant) and Anna Scott (Julia Roberts), quickly reaching worldwide success.

Concert Band - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1110858 By Brady Kuhl. By Brady Kuhl. Arranged by Brady Kuhl. Classical,Comedy,Contest,Festival. Score and Parts. 66 pages. Brady Kuhl #713153. Published by Brady Kuhl (A0.1110858). The song simmering into fall is a song that supposed to portray fall as a season, but it just turned into a beautiful pile of trash, as the Intro is the introduction, movement A is supposed to portray the cooling down in the tempeture and changing the color of trees, movement B is supposed to represent false fall but after a while, the music seems to fall out of control. I don't know if this song trash or Tresure, please find out and enjoy, and tell me how yawl think. If yawl can manage to play thst song in real life and make it sound good, it would make yawl the best musicians.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1012006 Composed by Haydon Harvey. Christian,Sacred. Score. 2 pages. Haydon Harvey #3533713. Published by Haydon Harvey (A0.1012006). 'Of His Holiness' would be best played with solo piano and maybe a synthesizer in the background. Obviously one good have drums, bass and other instrumentation but I think the feel of the song would best come across with solo piano. The lyric are directly taken from scripture; namely Psalm 96 KJV. The lyrics don't follow the order of the psalm verses and is effectively jumps around the psalm. There's no specific reason for this other than to maintain melodic flow but even with the jumping around the song still communicates the general idea of the psalm.Follow me also on YouTube to stay up-to-date with my latest compositions:https://youtube.com/channel/UCDH5k8WC2fjcY_5i6fmyHfg

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1438554 By Frankie Laine. By Carl Fischer and Frankie Laine. Arranged by Dave Gingras and John E. Dosher. Broadway,Film/TV,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score. 3 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #1018580. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1438554). We'll Be Together Again is a 1945 popular song composed by Carl T. Fischer, with lyrics by Frankie Laine. Fischer was Laine's pianist and musical director when he composed the tune, and Laine was asked to write the lyrics for it. The Pied Pipers were the first to release the song, and as well as Laine, it has since been recorded by such notable vocalists as Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Rosemary Clooney, Lou Rawls and Tony Bennett. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We added what we think are some pretty cool left-hand fills that we hope you will like! It's a fun song and not too hard to play!

Piano Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.504885 By ABBA. By Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus. Arranged by Mario Stallbaumer. Pop. Score. 4 pages. Published by Mario Stallbaumer (A0.504885). With this sheet music, you can play The Winner Takes It All by ABBA on piano! It's an accurate, carefully created piano arrangement of the full song, in the original key of Gb major. The vocal melody is included in the piano part, so it makes for a perfect piano solo cover. The Winner Takes It All was the first single from ABBA's 1980 album Super Trouper, which became the best-selling album of that year in the UK. The song became a huge international success, and their last top 10 hit in the US before the band broke up in 1982. It is often assumed that the famous ballad was inspired by the divorce between Björn Ulvaeus (who wrote the song's lyrics) and Agnetha Fältskog (who sang the lead vocals), but Ulvaeus said the song was the experience of a divorce, but it's fiction. 'Cause one thing I can say is that there wasn't a winner or a loser in our case. A lot of people think it's straight out of reality, but it's not. In any case, The Winner Takes It All is a fantastic ballad, an iconic hit from the early 80s, and it makes for a fantastic piano cover!

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quartet Bass Clarinet - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.581934 Composed by John Gibson. Contemporary. 31 pages. JB Linear #3456341. Published by JB Linear (A0.581934). Extinction Events (1st movement - Buzzy Delights (honey bees) by John Gibson was written as a submission to the International Clarinet Association's 2018 Composition Competition. Written for 3 Bb clarinets and 1 bass clarinet, it is a four movement work for very advanced players. This is the first movement only...the others may be purchased separately: It Isn't Easy Being a Cuckoo, Walrus Jump, and Yaguarete Surprise (Argentine Jaguar). The entire set of 4 movements may also be purchased. Simply type extinction events Gibson in the search bar at the top. Each movement imagines a different animal or insect living in its habitat as it gradually deteriorates. One might think this would be sad, violent music, but each earthly creature is shown in its musical habitat where it happily does what it does best....bees buzzing around flowers, cuckoos gently calling in the forest, Walruses jumping not so gracefully onto sea ice, Jaguars quietly stalking their prey. The habitat changes are depicted by gradual use of unstable scales, and the sometimes hidden ancient tune of the Dies Irae, the Day of Wrath. The point I wish to make is how humans must be watchful of wildlife habitats because we are all in this limited world together. Where wild creatures go, so do we. It was best said by Jane Goodall: Only if we understand can we care. Only if we care will we help. Only if we help shall they be saved.Buzzy Delights (honey bees) – Bees are industrious and play a key role in propagating plants, while the queen stays in the hive in her pentagonal glory and sings a song in 5/4 time. Honey Bees have been having issues with some types of insecticides and diseases and whole areas of hives have died off. Humans would be in a bad way if they buzzed off and went extinct. You may watch a video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/j-zLUcxiMas

Brass Ensemble - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.766946 Composed by Bob Delfausse. 20th Century,Concert,Standards. Score and parts. 67 pages. Robert Delfausse #2343249. Published by Robert Delfausse (A0.766946). Rhythmic elements are prominent in this 3-movement brass quintet.  The third movement uses syncopated harmonic backgrounds to make passages in two sound as if they could be in three, and passages in three sound as if they might be in two.  The middle movement could be described as a hymn, through it written for the most part in 10/8 meter.  The lyricism of the music doesn't suffer from these rhythmic complexities.  I think it stands out more strongly because of it.  Suitable for advanced intermediate players or professionals.  Duration: 9 minutes, 50 seconds.

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1401766 Composed by Jacob Collier. Arranged by Justin Roth. Contemporary,Folk,Pop,Singer/Songwriter. Guitar Tab. 10 pages. Rothirric Music #984951. Published by Rothirric Music (A0.1401766). Summer Rain was written by Jacob Collier and features Madison Cunningham on vocals and Chris Thile on mandolin. It is on Jacobâ??s Djesse vol. 4 album, released on February 29, 2024. This transcription was originally based on two back-to-back live performances at Union Chapel in London on Aug. 31, 2023, and was completed before the album version was released. The videos were not an official release, but the performances were the first time the three of them had ever performed it as a trio in front of an audience. There were slight discrepancies between the two performances, but I chose what was most consistent with the resulting pattern and progression of the album version.Despite the harmonic complexity of parts of the song, learn the easy and repeatable chord shapes that Jacob actually uses to make this song easier to play that you think. This transcription is intended as a chordal and rhythmic guide to the song, making it more accessible, no matter what your level of playing is. Since it is based on a live performance, and because Jacob doesn't play anything exactly the same way twice, this is not a note-for-note fingerstyle arrangement. This frees you up to adapt it to your level of playing, whether you're a strummer or fingerpicker. As a professional fingerstyle guitarist himself, arranger and transcriber, Justin Roth, has been teaching and transcribing Jacob Collier's guitar arrangements with precision and attention to detail unlike no other to date. Supplemental tutorial videos that accompany Justin's transcriptions are available here: https://bit.ly/JCtutorials.
