Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.818372 By Stephen R Dalrymple. By Stephen R Dalrymple. Arranged by Stephen R Dalrymple (Dalrymple Designs). Sacred. 29 pages. Stephen R Dalrymple #6709747. Published by Stephen R Dalrymple (A0.818372). Hope of the World: 13 Feed the Flock for Slaughter original song arranged for SATB choir and piano by Stephen R Dalrymple♫ sequenced by the composer♫ music © 1999 Stephen R Dalrymple♫ recording ℗ 2022 Stephen R Dalrymple♫ presentation © 2024 Stephen R Dalrymple♫ based on Zechariah 11, John 10, and Matthew 27♫ The Judah of Zechariah was marred by exiles who struggled greatly to obey God’s law. Ezra, Nehemiah, Haggai and Malachi contain many passages that point out the sin of the people. Joshua, the current high priest, is pictured in one of Zechariah’s visions as wearing filthy apparel, desperately needing cleansing. Sheep in Bible times are grown more for their wool and milk, not so much for the slaughterhouse. Zechariah likens the leadership of Judah to shepherds and flock owners who are primarily concerned with selling meat. But there is a good shepherd who intervenes to lead the flock. He is mistreated by the owners and the shepherds and paid the price of a slave for his efforts. The good shepherd, casts the price on the floor for the potter.♫ Zechariah is looking ahead to a time when the religious leaders of Judah were short on compassion and the needs of people. Jesus called Himself the Good Shepherd. We see several parallel’s here in John 10. He called the religious leaders of His day, thieves and robbers, and predators. Judas Iscariot was paid the price of a slave to betray Jesus, which he threw to the ground, but was scooped to purchase a Potter’s Field!♫ Includes 1) full score 2) SATB choir part on 2 staves 3) full score for 10 inch tablet♫  (Tell your computer which pages you want to print. Choral Choir,Choral (SATB divisi) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1310974 Composed by Alan Bullard. 20th Century,Christian,Religious,Sacred. 8 pages. Colne Edition / BullardMusic #899949. Published by Colne Edition / BullardMusic (A0.1310974). He will speak peace is a church anthem for SATB (divisi), mezzo-soprano or treble solo, and organ. It is a setting of two verses from Psalm 85, and it was written and performed for the 350th anniversary of the founding of Lion Walk United Reformed Church, Colchester, and is dedicated to the memory of the composer's teacher Herbert Howells, ending with a characteristic Howells cadence. The expressive and calm setting also incorporates ‘Song 1’ by Orlando Gibbons (‘Eternal Ruler of the ceaseless round’) – mainly in the organ part, with the choir taking up and developing the hymn-tune in the final bars, to the words ‘Mercy and truth are met together, righteousness and peace have kissed each other’.www.alanbullard.co.ukwww.colneedition.co.uk.

Clarinet Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.787200 Composed by Greg Bartholomew. 20th Century,Contemporary,Standards. Individual part. 7 pages. Burke & Bagley #48421. Published by Burke & Bagley (A0.787200). Ukiyo-e (literally pictures of the floating world) is a genre of Japanese woodblock prints and paintings produced between the 17th and the 20th centuries, featuring motifs of landscapes, tales from history, the theatre, and pleasure quarters. It is the main artistic genre of woodblock printing in Japan. Usually the word ukiyo is literally translated as floating world, referring to a conception of an evanescent world, impermanent, fleeting beauty and a realm of entertainments (kabuki, courtesans, geisha) divorced from the responsibilities of the mundane, everyday world; pictures of the floating world, i.e. ukiyo-e, are considered a genre unto themselves. The novelist Asai Ryoi, in his Ukiyo monogatari (Tales of the Floating World, c. 1661), provides some insight into the concept of the floating world: ... Living only for the moment, turning our full attention to the pleasures of the moon, the snow, the cherry blossoms and the maple leaves; singing songs, drinking wine, diverting ourselves in just floating, floating; ... refusing to be disheartened, like a gourd floating along with the river current: this is what we call the floating world... Ukiyo-e: Pictures of the Floating World was composed for clarinetist Thomas Piercy and pianist Claudine Hickman, who gave the world premiere performance in New York on April 8, 2012, as part of the 15 Minutes of Fame program on the Composer's Voice Concert Series. Duration 1 minute.Download free piano accompaniment track:  http://www.gregbartholomew.com/piano/BB321P.mp3.
