The Burn flows roughly south-eastwards down stone falls, meandering around the plantation at Killhope Lead Mine museum and then onwards past our cottage into Cowshill and finally Wearhead.This work seeks to describe that tumbling, meandering, rushing journey until peace reigns at the end as the burn finds its resting place in the Wear.
