String Quintet Cello,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1220121 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Derrick Thom. Lewis. 19th Century,Chamber,Classical,Romantic Period. 34 pages. Derrick Thom. Lewis #816484. Published by Derrick Thom. Lewis (A0.1220121). This is a bloody masterpiece - it's Op.120, yet it's not nearly as well known as the Grosse Fuge Op.133, which is perhaps, slightly thornier to digest at one (or 1000) hearings. This piece, in keeping with the general tone of the whole hour-long Diabelli Variations, is plainly satirical, in fact it's frequently funny. First the Fugue and then the Minuet, lampoon (by then old) conventions ruthlessly. Reason for the ridicule? Beethoven found Diabelli irritating first, and his Theme risible second. The first reason was probably enough.Enjoy!

Piano - intermediate - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q18657 Sur Auprès de ma blonde. Composed by Naji Hakim. This edition: Sheet music. Downloadable. Duration 10 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q18657. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q18657). Naji Hakim (*1955), French composer of Lebanese descent, not only writes pieces for his principal instrument, the organ; even his piano works are characterized by many different sources, his major source of inspiration often being folk songs such as 'Auprès de ma blonde' whose melody dates back to the 16th century. The theme, which is introduced with a typical march rhythm, is developed in seven entertaining variations. One of the most popular French folk songs, interpreted by Elvis Presley and Doris Day among others, still is sung and played today. The present arrangement is an effective addition to the repertoire of every pianist.

Flute Duet Flute - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.814751 Composed by Richard E Brown. Arranged by Dacker Music. Concert,Contemporary,Instructional,Standards,World. Score. 10 pages. Dacker Music #3222435. Published by Dacker Music (A0.814751). This unaccompanied contest/recital duet for middle school flutists is in the form of a theme with three variations. The theme is Botany Bay, a popular folk song from Australia. It is not a duet with a more interesting first part and easy second part. Both parts are of equal difficulty and importance and both get to play the melody. Thus, the players must be aware of who, if either of them, has the more important line all the time and adjust accordingly.     A separate part for each player is included to do away with awkward  page turns.Grade 2   -   Duration 2:00
