The melody is shared between Part 1 and Part 2. It is scored for 3 Bassoons and/or Tenoroons, but is also suitable for a larger ensemble of bassoon/tenoroon players. In the case of a mixed ensemble of Bassoons and Tenoroons where there is more than one player per part, it is preferable to have at least one Bassoon on Part 3.
