I underscored with the carol lyrics and guitar chords so that it can be played at home during the holidays at family gatherings and at their churches. At the request of a mom, I created a second violin part so she could play with her daughter. The viola and cello arrangements will be available shortly in time for the holidays! This piece also works year round as Greensleeves.  I also created a Youtube accompaniment video so the kids can play this at home during the holidays. He Sin Nian or He Xin Nian literally means New year's Greeting, composed by Ho Xiang Lee in Shang Hai in 1948 (ROC), originally the song was to celebrate the New Year soon after Christmas, so it quoted the Jingle Bells melody at the end of the music. But as time goes by, it gradually becomes the lunar new year's standard song. I arranged this song as a concert showpiece, with some embellishments and variations, difficulty level is similar to Grade 6 or Grade 7 of ABRSM.I also arranged and attached a backing track mp3 file, you can play along with it with my sheet music.
