Tantum ergo (Let us raise) WAB 43 was originally set for SATB choir with Organ, composed in 1845 and is the second of Bruckner's eight settings of this hymn. This short work of only 36 bars and less than 2 minutes in length has been transposed from the original A major into D major and beautifully arranged for four-part Trombone Ensemble by Ralph Sauer for moderately advanced performers.

Young Bruckner composed the Missa Brevis WAB 146 for mixed a cappella choir (also known as the Kronstorfer Messe) in 1843 while working as a teaching assistant in the town of Kronstorf. The Mass, to be sung during Lent consists of four movements:

1. Kyrie - Adagio

2. Sanctus - Adagio

3. Benedictus - Andante

4. Agnus Dei - Adagio

The work is reminiscent of the style of Palestrina and exists without a Gloria or Credo.

Ralph Sauer has beautifully arranged this 5-minute work for 4-part Trombone ensemble. This work is appropriate for moderately advanced performers.

Tota pulchra es (You are full of beauty) is a sacred motet composed in March of 1878 for solo tenor voice, choir and organ. Ralph Sauer has brilliantly arranged the music for 4-part Trombone Ensemble.

The music is about 5 minutes in length and is appropriate for moderately advanced performers. The top part requires a good high register with endurance.
