They can also be used as warm up reading exercises once playing through has reached a learned point. Exercises are 4 measures in length, hands together, with various time signatures.

This arrangement of Isabella's Lullaby from The Promised Neverland is for early-intermediate/intermediate level. It is written in the original key so that you can play along with the soundtrack recordings. The right hand melody begins as single notes and includes some countermelodies in later repetitions. The left hand spans an octave and has a few leaps past the octave for a wider range. There are suggested fingers written in trickier passages.

Every April 1st, I try to create a small silly music-related thing for my students. Last year, it was an ear training quiz video (available on YouTube @ClassicalSqueak). This year, I wrote this little waltz with and arranged it with a hint of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up†in the melody as a sight reading exercise. Hope you enjoy! :)

The right hand may be played up an octave for the entire piece to match the vocals (or as written so the hands are closer together). The right hand (RH) has one note at a time; the left hand (LH) has one or two notes at a time. There are some suggested fingers written in the RH when needed. Great as a pedagogical piece for trickier rhythms and coordination between hands.
