Tributum pays homage to the great music of Ireland and Scotland, with lyrical and memorable themes throughout creating a dialogue between the chamber orchestra and the traditional pipes of Ireland, the Uilleann Pipes and the Great Highland Bagpipes. In ‘Tributum,’ Avant masterfully blends ethnic Celtic instruments with symphony orchestra to create a wonderfully moving work.
