Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1377063 By Count Basie. By Billy Hill. Arranged by Dave Gingras and John E. Dosher. Broadway,Film/TV,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score. 3 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #961669. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1377063). The Glory of Love is a song that was written by Billy Hill and recorded in 1936 by Benny Goodman. Goodman's version was a number one pop hit and the song has been recorded by many artists. It was the signature theme of the 1967 film Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We also added what we think are some pretty cool left-hand fills that we hope you will like! It's a beautiful tune, easy to play and sounds great!
