Piano Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.1178488 Composed by Julián De La Chica. Classical,Contemporary,Film/TV. Score. 25 pages. Vagabundo Music Publishing #778453. Published by Vagabundo Music Publishing (A0.1178488). The current pianistic postminimalism draws heavily from Ambient music, this is how it tries to build surfaces. We hear it in popular figures such as Max Richter, Hania Arani, Olafur Arnalds or Nils Frahm. In the Silencios Fatuos (2021) by Colombian composer Julián De La Chica, this search seems to find threads that weave with the phosphorescent and radioactive shadows left by the twentieth century, and to which we return when listening to the flashes of sonorities that refer us to Ryuichi Sakamoto or David Sylvian. In previous productions, such as the  Preludes Op. 8, and his Voyeuristic Images Op. 10, De La Chica's pianism shows a constant exploration and research. The composer-pianist urges within the parameters of the new simplicity, challenging himself in a kind of minimal eroticism. In Silencios fatuos the artist gradually sheds his skins, confronting the very fatuity of postminimalism. And in this way, he seems to sprout abstaining from any violent rebellion, in a kind of superfluity, allowing the passage of time, building surfaces with curved lines that twist on themselves without noise, without groans, contemplating the absurd with an unsettling serenity.— Susan Campos-Fonseca, PhDMusicologist & composer

Piccolo (also alto-flute), cello and piano - advanced - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q42379 For piccolo (doubling alto flute), violoncello and piano. Composed by Peter Eotvos. This edition: score and parts. Downloadable, Score and parts. Duration 5 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q42379. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q42379). Composed for the 90th birthday of György Kurtág, the only five-minute trio is characterized by a condensed, contemporary spirit of playing. The change between piccolo and alto flute, magical sound surfaces of the piano and the scordatura of the cello again and again lead to new combinations. The piece concludes, with a wink, with a gradual downward move in quarter-tone steps on the low string of the cello to the Contra G, the initial of the composer celebrating his birthday.

Alfred Music - Digital Sheet Music #00-PC-0016224_BTX. Published by Alfred Music - Digital Sheet Music (AX.00-PC-0016224_BTX). UPC: 038081453095.With its message of endless possibilities and dreams fulfilled, this piece, from the 1971 Academy-award nominated film score of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (1964), by songwriting team Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, has remained popular since the 1970s---and even more so today, or so says the more than 5.5 million views on YouTube. The tune surfaces three times in the movie, first during the opening title music, then as the feature number by Gene Wilder as he leads his assembled golden ticket winners into the chocolate room, and finally, as part of the Wonkavator music at the end. Great fun for all generations, and all generations to come! This arrangement provides a dramatic opportunity to teach expression. A charming and musical choice, it is memorable and heartwarming.
